My name is mohammed jawahir residing in coimbatore. I am regular customer in trends for years. I am satisfied with the collections, price and quality. The customer service provided was good. I has a very good experience with trends till yesterday.
My friend gifted me a shirt bought from thudiyalur trends on feb 1st. I faced size issues i went for exchange today (I. E. Feb 10) around 1 pm to trends thudiyalur, coimbatore but i really had very very bad experience with the customer service provided by the manager of the store.
He saw the tag attached to the shirt and said it was washed. It was a gifted shirt and even used once or washed it. But he was not even ready to listen what i was trying to say and started talking rudely. He is going on kept on his argument that the shirt has been washed because the tag was shrinked and he smelled the shirt saying that the shirt has smell of a used one. He added that i don't have sixth sense and people having sense will not ask for exchange. Is this the way a manager should be speaking to customer? The manager words was very rude which made me stressed and i was in a shock that how come he speaks like this. I literally had very bad experience and service at trends thudiyalur branch.
It is not necessary for me to come for an exchange for used or washed clothes. There should be some technique or testing to find the clothes was washed or not but how he will say by looking the tag. There may be various reasons for the tag shrinked. He should have done that. He also said go and complaint wherever you want or even to the consumer court and you can't do anything. I was fed up by the behavior and unparlimentary words spoken by the manager.
I will be a customer to other branches of trends and not once again to thudiyalur. I will refer my friends and neighbors' not to shop over there.
I need two things to be done from your end.
First, i didn't return a used shirt. I will not use it until i get an exchange for it. You can do whatever testing you can do to find the shirt was washed or not. I need an exchange for my shirt.
Second thing i want an apology for that manager who never knew how to behave to a customer.
I need a justice for whatever happened today which made me very depressed.
Kindly let me know what has to be done from my end. I have attached the bill and tag for reference.
