I, Karthik Kannan, purchased a CARE Health Insurance policy (Policy No: [56312292]) in July 2025 after being convinced by CARE’s sales representative and his manager to switch from my earlier Niva Bupa Health Insurance. They promised me superior service and specifically assured that my twin babies would be added to the policy after 90 days, which was the key reason I ported to CARE.
Now, it has been over 2 months since policy purchase and more than 1 month since my babies turned 90 days old, yet CARE has failed to include them in the policy despite:
My repeated requests and follow-up emails
Submission of all required documents including birth certificates
Written confirmation from the sales manager that my babies can be added
Instead, I have been facing complete negligence and no response from CARE Health. This is a clear case of:
Mis-selling / False Assurance – I was misled into buying the policy with promises that are not being honored.
CARE has failed to process a simple endorsement even after repeated follow-ups.
They induced me to switch from my earlier insurer and now are denying promised benefits.
This delay directly impacts the health security of my newborn babies, who urgently need to be covered under health insurance.
I need the below asap
* Immediate inclusion of my twin babies into my CARE Health Insurance policy as per the written assurance.
* Compensation for mental stress and harassment caused by false promises and negligence.
* Strict action against the sales team and company for mis-selling.
