[Resolved] Renault — duster - engine size | |||
Dear renault team, My name is kapil tyagi and i had purchased a car “duster” from renault on 08/04/2013, new delhi having its registration no. As dl13c 5758. The engine no. Is d023316 and the ch. No. Is meehsra36d3020662. I have always got my car serviced regularly at the authorized service centre of renault in sector-63, noida, on or before the due date of service. I have almost driven my car for 92, 000 km till today with no complaint. With such good response and performance of the duster car i had purchased another one in the family for my brother, having its car no. As dl8c ak0941. However, on 29/07/2017 evening, when i had gone out with my family for about a kilometer or two, the engine of my car got stopped and it did not get start since then. I called up the customer support and got my car pulled at the service center at sector-63, noida on the same night with the help of service engineers. Later with different examinations, the engineers informed me on sunday evening that the "engine of my car is been seized". Reason observed by the engineers was absurd, "unavailability of engine oil". They have an assumption that i have got my engine oil changed from outside vendors. It made me anger and i shouted at them to take out the history of my car’s services till date from their books to evaluate my credibility and love for my car. I told them that their books will speak to them about my seriousness and care about my car. They found it to be correct and asked for two days time to help me with the situation. And later this afternoon, they have mailed me a bill for rs. 4, 92, 950/- to get the car repaired. Seriously?? Have i been so dumb, why would i have gone to authorized service centre every time for getting my car serviced every time till today? I believe, they are simply trying to cheat on me. They must have forgotten to put in engine oil on their last service. They must have tried saving some money on my service and cheat the brand as well. I therefore, want justice for me and my car. Also i urge the company to teach them a lesson not to mislead the customer for any reason. I have also made them clear, if not given justice to me; i shall drag them and the brand on social media as well as to the consumer court. But i cannot be left as fooled.
