[Resolved] Renault — fraud done by tvs renault service center, kottayam, nattakom. | |||
Dear team, Reference: renault kwid rxt (Kl-66-a-1051) Due to the flood affected at kerala on august 2018, my car sank up to the headlight level. As per my intimation, on 5/9/2018 your road side assistance team tow the above vehicle [renault kwid rxt, 700cc] to your tvs renault kottayam, nattakom service center for a full service. Because of my regular contact, after one month they told me that my vehicle is under category 'c' and they are not able to service the car within the insurance amount. They told me that the car is under total loss and forced me to buy a new car. My insurance idv value was rs.265, 000. Because of this, i towed my car to another workshop on 12/10/18 and they done all the cleaning like engine, petrol tank, starter motor, electrical items and also checked the ecm in my presence. After all the repair, the car was not starting. They diagnose the ecm detailed and found that the ecm vin number is not matching with my car's chassis number. While in your possession, it was damaged as follows: On my renault kwid car your team set up another vehicle's ecm. I got the details of the actual owner of that ecm, from your another showroom and i contacted him. When i checked with him, his vehicle is also flooded at that time and towed to the same renault service center at nattakom. I have all the proof for that. But your service centre is not accepting it. You were under a legal duty to take care of my car while it was in your possession. The fact that the vehicle was damaged while in your possession is evidence that you failed to take reasonable care of it. Because of your irresponsible care, i was not able to use my car in my needs and i suffered a lot for last 4 months. Also i’m not able to employ another garage to carry out the repairing works of my car. I look forward to receiving your written proposal to affect a satisfactory repair to the vehicle, at no cost to me within the next 7 working days. Also i need compensation for the fraudulent your dealership had done. I am not interested to give my car again to the renault service center, nattakom, because i lost my trust in them. And also the service center is around 55 km from my home town. This would be a way of successfully resolving my dispute without resorting to legal action.
