Hi,
Yesterday i inquired about renault kwid car in some show rooms in mumbai. They all quoted me with handling charges. I asked them about the same, so they told me that renault has authorized them to charge such charges from customer. When i mailed the same to renault customer care ([protected]@renault.com), i received a call from them (+[protected] & they openly said that renault authorizes their dealers to charge handling charges from customer. I told them about the supreme court judgement on this, they told me that even they are aware about this but they allow their dealers for the same. I asked them to reply this same statement on mail, so they refused it by saying they are not authorized to send this on mail. Instead of reverting relevant things on mail they just sent me an formal mail but no where they mentioned anything about the topic (Below mail copy attached).
Now i am confused, who is superior, supreme court or these foreign companies.
I want an strict action on them, then only these companies will learn a message & will stop practicing wrong things.
