[Resolved]  Renault — Oil Chamber Plastic for KWID Car

My kwid car dl 1cr 9860 champer has broken from wood pice. That was very horrible thing for me in my life even company getting rs 4.17lacs for top model in delhi. Now i consumer will have to pay money from pocket. This car never be used in night. Fraud things with customers. Nobody check such thing during purchase this car.

This problem is related to manufacture. Chamber quality of fiber is very poor in base of car so please change oil chamber to Metal body from fiber in KWID Cars. This thing dangerous for engine who are driving this car in night. It could be broke from little stone also which can jump from tyres during running on Indian roads.why customer is suffering from this even already paying insurance and paid Rs-4.17 lakhs of this car. I did pay for repair Rs-5000.

I did clearly mention in above mail. I am not satisfy with quality of oil chamber which was broken from small pice of wood.i did check oil chamber of car after touch with wood pice at place and notified to customer care center for the same and repaired by Aligarh service team properly which is running perfectly now if customer won't attention on it timely then engine would seize afterthat user will have to pay approx 70K for it which is blind game with hard money o[censored]sers.no one check quality of oil chamber during purchase this car. Please gave me extra protection for this without any cost if possible because i have already paid approx. RS-5000 alongwith 2% charge through Card payment.

I am from a country outside India. I own a kwid but recently my engine chamber broke after hitting on a stone. The road condition here is not good at all. If the chamber was a metal, this would not have been a problem. I, as your client would like to request you renault manufacturer to please manufacture metal engine chamber.

Please give us a free exchange plastic oil chamber to metal one, or else we don't recommend this car to anyone. How much can you save by doing that? French manufacturers are good, but when it comes to India, they are very careless.
Any update on new model? That plastic oil chamber replaced with metal?

Because of this chamber issue i had to face a loss of 2 lakh rupees, I bought the car in 4 lakh and had to sell it for 2 lakh after using 1 year .(10000 km ) only . nobody is willing to buy this car only ... total injustice with me but I believe in karma Rennault will face the wrath in time .
Renault don't care about Indian customer safety. They never intended replace fiber(plastic) oil chamber. Shame they are loosing customers every month but Renault India don't care, by not replacing with metal one they are taking advantage of service stations making extra money. Beware of Renault kwid it's made out of fiber oil chamber.

Last week i bought new kwid 0.8 rxl with abs feeling happy but after reading complaints about kwid oil chamber iam getting afraid...is it true the oil chamber broke when stone hits? I never thought this Renault do this type of production...if oil chamber get hit by stone or get damaged ...how Renault is going to take care...i need explanation from you

Still no change in fiber/plastic oil chamber and no passenger airbag. Be aware before buying this car.
Terrible situation with the cars. I bought the top end KWID climber and paid around 6 lakhs on road. In 50 days of getting the car the engine oil chamber broke with stone impact on a damaged road in Bangalore.
The estimated cost to repair the vehicle is coming upto ₹60, 000!
Terrible quality. Very disappointed with the car. If i had found this page before purchasing i never would’ve gone for it. I had to wait for 4 hours in my car before the Renault toad side assistance sent a person to take custody of the vehicle. I was in a prime location in the city and only 5km away from the closest service station.

Complaint: The product is having a plastic(oil filter) at the bottom chase. But this was never updated at time of purchase rather this should have been highlighted with the risk.

Back ground : I was on a family vacation in my Triber vehicle to Karnataka - Chikmangalur on 18-Jan-2020. As I return from (hebbe falls), it seems the bottom of my vehicle is hit by stone around 7 PM in the night where I couldn't notice at that point of time.

As I drive by having fun with family, the car got stopped and it didn't start again. I was shocked and couldn't understand the reason. I called nearby Renault RSA and with their help my vehicle taken to Renault Shimoga Show room (Shreya Renault).

The trip is completely spoiled and I sent back the family by arranging alternate vehicle and I decided to stay back to get my vehicle the very next day.

Here comes the heart of the story where I heard from show room that vehicle bottom (oil filter) is damaged and as a consequence there is some problem in Vehicle engine & Starter. I was very disappointed but convinced myself stating it's a brand new vehicle and I have warranty cover as well as insurance protection (Bumper to bumper).

Another shock for me is when I understand from show room the Insurance is rejected (stating engine protection was not included though no one talked to me about this at the time of vehicle purchase) and warranty (which I heard covers for 12 months minimum) also rejected from Renault. Now, I have to pay the cost of 50k to take back my new vehicle by solving the engine issue. Show room suggested to go for new engine for 1.5 Lakh cost of my own.

Now, I decided to take it up with Renault directly expecting a remedy for the above issue.

How come the product is having plastic at the bottom (No other products do have this). Is it something because of the product cost to earn customers?

I understand there is a additional protection to cover that plastic product in the bottom which the dealer failed to highlight and their focus is only on sales and NOT customer satisfaction. I hope that is not the case with Renault and you will value the Customer.

I personally provided positive feedback about the product so far and referred quite a few people to purchase this product and I hope I will not regret my decision.

Note: I paid the cash and taken back my vehicle.
