Date of incident: 16th June 2018 Issue: car break down. Vehical number: KA-04-MU-6817 Date of purchase: 26th March 2018 Make: Renault Duster RXS CVT Petrol Hi this is Harish from Karnataka Bengaluru bought my new Rental Duster RXS CVT 2018 make from the authorized dealer Trident Renault, just 2.5 months old. Car breakdown occurred in the middle of the road while travelling at 60kmph, from Tumkur to Bangalore by god’s Grace no injury occurred to any one in the car. This happened when I was travelling in NH4 national Highway, as my daughter was not keeping well and I had an appointment with pediatrician in Bangalore, because of this incident I could not able to meet pediatrician. Then I called up roadside assistance they turned up in decent time of 50 mins and tried to make the car work but they did not succeed but helped me to toe the vehicle to the authorized Service center, now the vehicle is ready for delivery but I am really scared to drive my car now because of break down. Hence I am asking manufacturer Renault India to refund/replace my vehicle as I lost confidence on their car now. and very scary to drive out of my city. Was this information helpful? | |||

Same poor response for me as well from Renault, I would like to share with you my bad experiences with Renault.
I feel very much embarrassing while I was requesting (begging literally) Renault executives in Shivamogga Shreya Renault and Bangalore Silkboard Renault Showroom(names will be shared if required) to make them understand that why I have to pay Rs. 3.269 (INR) (though small amount for Renault) on top of it the amount of pain which I had undergone on roads and it was heavily raining night. My Brand new Renault Kwid Climber (KA-01 MR-5701) was delivered on 4th May 2018 from Silkboard Showroom with very nice key handover formalities. However support and understanding a simple concern was not observed from any of the executives (both showrooms and Renault Corporate office Bangalore). I was driving to my native on 17th of May 2018 (which is just 2 weeks from vehicle delivery). It was slightly drizzling and I was running my vehicle at speed of less than 70km/h (as instructed by Renault showroom sales executive to drive within 80km/h till 1 or 2 service). All of sudden at 9.30 PM I started getting beep in dashboard with Red color indication. There was tow service arranged for me after calling Road service care that to it was raining mid night on main road with my aged mother (67 years) and my grandmother (78 years). I got call from Shivamogga showroom on 18th May 2018 morning that vehicle radiator is slightly damaged due to stone(pebbles) hit on the roads due to which coolant has been drained out which will not cover under warranty as its a external impact. (What do you mean by external impact ??) I have not banged any other vehicle or tree or anything. You mean to say I should park my vehicle at home after paying 6 Lakhs INR ?? Are Renault vehicles are not fit for Indian roads ?? (thought it’s an International brand). Trust me I have driven my Maruthi 800 (2004 model) for 6 years on heavily raining nights with family and not faced even a single issue till date. But got very annoyed with Renault service after reviewing too much on your brand.
Over the call all executives have agreed that its not my mistake but result is Zero which is not appreciable. Was my vehicle checked for Coolant, engine oil ? etc before delivery on 4th May 2018 ?? I didn't get the vehicle scan report even from Shivamogga Showroom as well, though I paid INR 3.269.00 from my pocked ( as I understand by Shivamoga showroom executive, final scan report will not be shared with me). What is the guarantee that now also my vehicle is fine after paying some amount even though there is no mistake from my end.
