Renault — Triber RXZ

Hi Renault,

I have purchased Renault-Triber RXZ last year in august 2020. Below are the list of issues that we have faced with our brand new car:

1. After using for 1-2 months, we were observing smell in the car. Its was not fixed initially. On our car’s first service technician told us the issue is due to filters.
• When we ask them about the issue initially they don’t do anything. When there is time of service then they come up with above statement.

Resolution: It was getting fixed when filters has been changes in 2nd service.
So from Renault technician, we don’t get any valid reason at the time of issue reporting.

2. After that we have observed some issue with gear’s. This issue was observed occasionally. Within 2-3 months we have observed this issue. On 31st of December, we were going to Patran and at that time as well I was observed same issue.
• Car is running in Automatic driving mode and we are not providing any acceleration. After moving, car started give some shock.
• We told about the issue to service station
• They check the software with their laptop and then ask us that they have updated the software
• Assure us that we shall not observe this issue in future.
• After some time, we were observed the same issue. But now from last 10 days, occurrence of issue is getting high.

Resolution: I am assuming that the issue was due to clutch. They are changing those clutch plates now.
So in this case as well, we have visited Renault service station many times, but don’t get any resolution. Each time they check the software and told us that there was some update and they have updated the same

3. [protected] We were facing issue in starting the car. Our car is getting stopped in between the market 2 times. At that time, we have contacted with Renault road side assistance service and they were come and start the car after providing jack.
• Next day we have to go to our relatives home for Lohri festival, but car was not getting started and on LED panel, starting throwing different types of errors. Abs, heater etc
• Later, its discovered that problem is due to battery drainage.
Resolution: Battery has been replaced.

4. [protected] Just now in last month, our car was filled with water.
• We have to travel back to home town samana. We were started the car and tried to drive. After moving 100meters, car was stopped.
• Car was showing red-light for battery. Due to that car is getting neutral, even on meter it is showing 2 Gear.
• We contact Renault road assistance, ask them to tow our car.
• Because we are far away from Renault assistance service station. Meanwhile we have tried to drive car. After driving 100-200 meter car was stopped again. We pushed the car and park it on the side 3 times.
• Like that, we drive the car to Renault service station in Gurgaon, because at that time we were in Gurugram.
• Show the car condition to technician and ask then to tell us about How water gone into car.
o Technician pull out 2 pieces of sponge from the bonnet.
 As per him, due to that sponge water was logged and come through the air bents in the car
 As per service station manager, I don’t remember the name of that person, there may be possibility of leaf’s stuck in the water drainage system. Due to that water comes inside the car.
 They give us the quality certificate and assure us that there is no issue with the car.
o We started travelling and coming 100Kms. Car was started showing some other error in Orange color.
o Next day we handover the car to Renault service station Patiala.
 I asked same question to Patiala technician, regarding water logging. According to Gorav, manager of Patiala service station, our car door was left open. Due to that water comes up in the car.
 I asked them that my car was parker outside and if I left the car door in open state then car was not be there next day.
• So for me his answer was not fulfill my requirement, or I can say that I am not satisfied with the Renaults observation and reasoning.
 Regarding orange light error, they told me that there is some circuit shock in a sensor. Due to that car was showing orange light.
o After that they handover the car to us and they told us that technician observed some noise in the clutch system, so clutch system needs to be changed.

5. [protected] From tomorrow, car was in Renault service station Patiala for clutch system issue.
• They told us car was required for 7-8 hours.
i. We are getting in touch with Gorav for whole day. He assure us that they will hand over the car to us till 7:30 PM
ii. After 8:30 Pm we tried to contact Gorav, but he was not pick the call. Some one from the service station called us and told us Gorav’s father was not well, due to that he is in Amar hospital.
iii. We told him ok, we can’t contact Gorav. But share the status with us.
iv. They told, we were replaced the old clutch system with new one and gone for trial. But faced the same issue and technician’s has opened the car again.
v. After 9:30 PM, we were go to Renault service station to check the car.
vi. It’s not good to say but old clutch system H/W was in the car and new one was placed in their trolly.
1. It was seems that they only open the car engine and left that as it is.
2. They don’t relace it, just lying us whole day.
3. This is also a lie that they have relaced and tried. (If they knew that the issue is with clutch system then what will be the reason to put old one gain in the car)
a. We have pictures for the same. If you want we can share the same.
• In next day(today), we discussed with Gaurav and told them to show us the yesterday’s pictures.
i. They show us the pictures of same day and told us that see we have replaced the old one with new one.
6. After sitting there for more than 5 hours, after that hey finished cars work.

We were not expected this kind of service from a raputed brand otherwise we were not purchased Renault’s car. We have selected Renault for our first car. But we are facing worst experience with Renault service stations and with its product.

Can you please tell us the reason of all the issues:

Why water logging was happened in the car?
Why are we facing so much issues within a year with a new branded car again and again? Is it due to some kind of defected piece of car.
Why resolution has not been done in first attempt?
Why each time your technician tired to fool us with providing the same reason that “there were some software update”. Due to that you were facing the issue?
