I have been living on rent in 'the addressed apartment:
'house no 938, room no 8, first floor, jaina market, old tel mill road, chakkarpur, gurgaon122002', for past four years and had made an agreement of lease for 11 months with the inchrge (Not the landlord as he stays out of the matter). The lease had a clear mention about the security deposit and also was duly signed by both parties. After the expiry of that lease, no new rent agreement was done as we were in good talking terms with the incharge of the house. But now when we told him that we are vacating the house, in a notice period of one month, he is refusing to pay back the security deposit. He is giving invalid excuses like, security deposits are refunded only to those who vacates the house on or before 31st/or 30th or whatever is the last day of the month, by giving a notice between 1st to 7th of that month. The security deposit amount is 6000inr. Can i file a complaint against him? Pls help Was this information helpful? |
