Reserve Bank Of India [RBI] — Bank employee failed to enter nominee details
Officers of Axis Bank Ltd came to our house to collect the applications for Savings and Demat Ac of my late mother
They filled the application for SB Ac with my father as nominee and got it signed by my mother
For Demat Ac only the signature of my mother was taken and we were informed that they will fill it as per SB application form later and left
The officers assured that Nothing to worry and everything will be taken care by them
They never gave us the customer copy till date despite several followups
My Mother expired on 23 07 20 and subsequently when we approached the bank in September 2020 to transfer to shares into my Father s Ac which is also in the same bank they said there is no nominee registered for Demat
It is here we were given to understand that they missed to tick the box for Nominee in the Demat application form
Since then we have approached bank executives at various levels and they have shown an evasive attitude for the goo[censored]p done by their frontline sales team
