Reserve Bank Of India [RBI] — Complaint against State Bank Of India, Nehru Place Branch Delhi

Dear Sir,

We are to bring to your kind notice that we have our cash credit account with State Bank Of India, Nehru Place Branch, Delhi branch. We are having an account from 2018. We are already registered with MSME and having the Limit of Rs. 900 lacs. The said limit was sanctioned @ 9% interest per annum but State bank of India started charging 16% interest per annum. Inspiteoff our regular approaches/ reminders they have not yet revised the rate of interest.

We have been regularly approaching bank to revise our rate of interest to 9% but so far the rate of interest has not been revised.

You will also appreciate that Due to Covid all the companies are suffering since March 2020 onwards. We are small scale industries/ companies and we will not be able to survive with such high rate of interest.

We also bring to your kind notice that during 2019 by mistake State Bank Of India transferred approx.. Rs. 63.25 crore in our account and the same has been returned by us immediately which no other customers would have returned the same. We are genuine and an honest customer of so we should not be penalized by charging higher rate of interest otherwise we will not be able to survive and our account will become sick/ NPA for which Bank will be liable for the same.

Further please also note that the Govt. Of India/ Reserve Bank of India is also giving the relief and concession to medium and small enterprises.

Please note that we will not pay any interest unless SBI revise our rate of interest to 9% per annum or lower to that and credit/ refund the excess interest charged by them to our account.

We need your sympathetic consideration in this regard to regularise our account.
