Hi sir,
This is to inform you that my bank passbook from bank on India holding account number [protected] is lost while I was traveling to my office in the metro train.
I request your good self to please lodge an FIR.
I will submit a copy of the FIR the bank, so that the passbook wont be misused by anyone.

I have lost my bank passbook, and I want to inform the police that it is lost in case someone finds it.
Firstly, I think I should telephone the bank and make them aware that I have lost it, so that they can be aware of the loss, because someone who finds it may try and use it to get money out of my account, so this should be a priority.
