Issue : very huge cranking or tapped noise as the bike is defect piece agreed by service manager
Showroom: royal engineers uppal, hyderabad, +91 [protected] /[protected]. Mr. Anil [protected] (Manager)
Resolution - need justice & replace the bike as they have wasted my 1.8 yrs time & money. Please help
Royal Enfield customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Problem not resolved and still persists even after investigating bike for 5 days. It is confirmed by RE Showroom, Service Manager and RE technical person that there is an serious issue in the bike from Tappets and they said it has to be replaced by new type of Lubricant pump to resolve the noise issue. Still no response from them waiting since last 3 weeks, Please help.

    Since from 29 june 2017 i have issues with rear wheel wobbling. From the date i registered complaint my bike was in the service station for almost 5 days a month costing waste of time and money. With all this in january 2018 they have replaced almost major parts of rear wheel and still issue is not solved. Finally on[protected] again they requested for correcting the issue one more time, yes this time they went for wheel truing (They didn’t attempted all these days) and wobbling has reduced a little but not completely. Because of the problems in the rear wheel rim, i am noticing new issues like bad condition of rear wheel tyre, a dent in the rear wheel assembly plate and many more. None of the concerned persons from royal enfield support team responding positively even though i am daily trying to reach area manager.

      My name is pranav mohan a bullet 350 owner from ernakulam. I am sending this email to register a complaint against the company store at edapalli. I have given my vehicle for service and it has been broke down after the service. Also, i have said to them to repair my back tire spoke alignment, but they have not done it, and they lied about it to me also. After my 3rd free service, my bullet is having carburetor missing issues and my battery got drained after the service. I am forced to complain this to consumer court if the matter is not cared of. I have been saying to service in charge to repair or replace my back tire as the alignment is not correct and they insisted that it is like that and lied that it is repaired.

      My vehicle number is kl 07 cl 2414 bought it from the same showroom please see that my bullet get repaired and i did not like the way the maintenance team talked and lied to me.

        I have ordered royal enfield classic 350 gun metal grey rear disc pipe before one month in yelahanka acclaim motors.. It has not been received till now.. Unable to ride bike and its standing in house from 45days please provide me royal enfield classic 350 gun metal grey rear disc pipe as soon as possible bcoz its a new bike and i have brought it just 3 months ago

        Where can I repair my classic 500cc bike. In trivandrum, Kerala. Yesterday an accident occurred the bike was badly damaged. Headlight is gone, handle bent, mudgurad damaged badly. I am afraid. I don't know where to go and repair it please help.

            Dear Sir/Madam

            This is to inform you that I had booked a Thunderbird 350X whimsical white on 5th march 2018 vide
            booking no BKNG[protected] at SHAHILA EXPOSITIONS PVT. LTD Guwahati Assam, I was been told the bike
            will be delivered to me by fourty days from date of booking, subsequently on 3rd april 2018 someone(they
            never mentioned their name while calling the customers) from the dealer call me up and told me that the
            bike will be delivered to me by two to three days and I should apply for finance from my bank.So I
            applied followed their advice and applied for the two wheeler loan which got approved from my bank and
            the E delivery notice was delivered to the dealer immediately, From that day my problem got started as
            my bank was asking me about the status of the bike.When I asked the dealer about the same they didn't
            gave any positive answer about the same.As the E DELIVERY NOTICE has a self expiry of 10 days, today my
            bank told me that my loan as been expired and i have to re initiate the same afresh which will take
            more time and also they had send the same to the dealer that loan as been cancelled as the billing of
            the bike was not done within stipulated time.So I went to the dealer today to investigate why they are
            failing to deliver the bike I had booked, they didn't gave me any positive answer and also I found that
            they had delivered the same model to some other person whereas when i had booked said model the dealer
            told me that I was the first person from that dealer who had booked the thunderbird whimsical white
            350x model and it will delivered to me much before the said TAT.So, I had cancelled the booking made my
            me.
            Hopefully you will understand my plight and do the needful to get the refund of the booking amount as I am yet to receive the same from the dealer.

            My Royal Enfield got same problem but it’s driven only 9000 and chain kit has gone but dearler said it doesn’t come under warranty and they charged me 2800rs instantly. Sorry to say but it’s totally ridiculous.

              I have purchased a royal enfield classic 350 cc black from royal enfield nerul, navi mumbai on may 2017 for rs. 156000.
              I started experiencing engine noise, chain noise since nov 2017, and same was informed to the company support.
              The bike is given every month for repair, and has been given twice in the month of march 2018 but still the problem persists.
              Their service station has not been able resolve the issue even though bike is given to workshop for repair every month.
              The bike is less than a year old but the engine has been opened thrice, chain replaced twice but still the issue has not been resolved causing a huge problem as i have to pay for taxi every time the bike is given for repair and also time consumption which takes place every time i have to go and submit bike for repair.
              I request indian consumer complaints forum to take up this matter and either get the product repaired properly or get my money refunded as rs. 156000 is not a small amount which was paid for purchase of this motorcycle.

                Hello royal enfield,

                I am here to register complaint about my royal enfield gunmetal 350 cc bought on january 31, 2018.

                I had bought it from dealership of teknik motors, indiranagar, bengaluru. Very often i was having issue with respect to some hardware in bike, i. E., suspension, front tyre, etc. Anyway i am not here to say about those.

                Its been just two and half months since i bought it. Day before yesterday while driving, my battery got off all of a sudden in mid of road, and to highlight, my bike is just two and half months old. Later one of servicemen at teknik motors toed my bike to service station. He held my battery there for a day so that he could charge it.

                Later i had to call teknik motors showroom around 5-6 times which were earlier unattended with no fair response. Later i urged for replacement of amaron battery in my bike and they were okay with. When i headed to service station, they said they are unaware of what i spoke to showroom guys. I had shamefully get back after debating a lot regarding battery issue which they denied to replace eventhough one year warranty is given to it and also included in billings.

                Just imagine, bike is just two and half months old, how can battery go down so early? First of all, i never had any fair response or service from teknik motors. They are denying battery replacement saying there is no problem. I was fed up arguing again and again. No fair and good service at all from their side. My front tire was fixed reversely after checkup there and whatever we say, no values at all, they just say yes and move on. No attention!!!

                Hence, i am requesting your support to kindly have an escalation here by granting me new battery replacement. Otherwise, i may have to rise up even more since i am expecting fairness here. Please consider my complaint and acknowledge me your response on it.

                From day one I'm having many manufacture problem from braking to chain spocket nd ur service centre says this doesn't comes under warranty although my bike is only 9 months old.. Don't know why u cheat ur own customer making worst product that too expensive.. now I'm planning to sell my bike Now i really don't turst royal enfield bikes.. sucks

                  Sukhmani motors pvt. Ltd., patna completed 2nd service of my newly purchased redditch red 350cc on 10th april 2018. They charged ₹687.70 for engine oil. I received my bike at 7 pm on 10th april'18. When i reached home, i checked my engine oil indicator and it was blank. They did not fill oil in my bike. If my bike will face some issues than who will responsible.
                  In my first servicing they charged for chain spray but they did not....

                  Recently i bought classic 350 redditich red and i had problem with petrol lock/ air lock. When i riding the bike, it suddenly engine gets off even i have petrol in tank. And only gets started when i open a tank lock and return to main mode.

                  While riding the bike in main fuel state, engine will get switch off after some distance. No problem in reserve state.

                  My name is suraj shinde from mahad. I would like to inform that my new bike which was purchased on mar 2017 is having a missing problem that means the bike stops in the middle of the road. And this could lead to a major accident because all of a sudden it stops. I even went to the service center they told me not to keep my bike in side stand, not to make a full tank fuel, so i always fill 2 liters of petrol. But still the again the bike stopped. This bike has a major issue. Please kindly solve my problem. My 5th service...

                    Hello royal enfield! I am experiencing a very bad and pathetic experience with one of your service centre in jabalpur (M. P). The royal thumpers service centre here in jabalpur are one of the most fraud and awful service centre and the staff is very miserable. I bought my royal enfield classic 350 (Redditch red) on 17th june 2017 and facing numerous types of problems since then and the service centre guys are not able to sort out even a single problem. Moreover they make these problems more intense and serious. Not only this, but the service centre guys blame the customer for the problem happening in bike without attending and rectifying it. They behave very rudely with the customers and do not show any type of concern to their problem. Yesterday when i gave my bike for service they prepared the job card, wrote all problems and i made them check all the things at my presence when the bike was on bay. That time they did not told that any thing needs to be changed but as soon i left my bike and went home they called me and said that certain parts of your bike needs to be changed as they are faulty. My bike has just run 9000 kms and i don not think these things needs to be changed. Coz i have 4 more royal enfields at my home and therefore know each and every thing of the bike. Also the service guys stole a tool from my toolbox, and on asking said that he put it with him by mistake.
                    I'm not the only one who is suffering from these guys, there are more people who are fed up with the service provided by royal thumpers jabalpur. We did not spend 1.5 lakhs of heavy amount to face all these problems.

                    I hope royal enfield will listen to my query and sort out this issue as soon as possible. Hope for a positive reply from your side.

                      After the service the bike started getting oil leakage. There are not able to fix the issue but charged around 2000 rupees. I went to service center three times to fix the same issue. After that sound was coming while parking the vehicle. For that they charged 295 for labour and 473 for wheel bearing. Still the issue is not fixed but i ended up paying money.. For the three months for service. I spent around 6000 to 7000 rupees. They are charging money and no proper service. No bike wash for paying this money. Iam not sure who can help me. The service people so careless and rude. Be carefull if you go to sairam auto craft bnarayanpura bangalore center.

                      Continental GT has a broken chase after 15000 kms and in 3 years, no major accidents so far.
                      Tried contacting the Royal enfield support, they are not doing anything to resolve it.

                        On february 24th 2018 when i was riding my bs4 classic 350 from pathanamthitta to thrissur on mornig, vehicle stopped suddenly at aluva (Cochin) without any indication. I tried kick start several times, but don't had any result. Since the head light was on all the time battery drained up. I called road assistance, they arranged one technician. He came to me, rechecked with battery but result was negetive. He suggested me to shift vehicle to nearby royal enfield showroom. I called road assistance again, they told me to leave the vehicle there and from showroom technicians will come with vehicle to took the vehicle after 7.00 pm. As the showroom people told me, i give key and helmet (Re branded) to nearby bakery shop and left the place. (Was little busy, actually i was going for an interview). Evening 7.30 pm i got a call from one person named shafeek ([protected]) and he told me he collect bike and helmet from the bakery shop, and shifted to nearby re store (Brand store, kalamassery). After 2 days from showroom they called me and informed vehicle is ready, issue was some wiring problems. But my helmet was missing. Supervisor ([protected]) told me they don't know about helmet.

                        Totally disappointed with these kind of irresponsible persons. I lost 3500 bucks!!!

                          Today i am visit your hapur (Up) showroom anmol automobiles for insurance my bike no up37f0040 and i want pay the insurance amount by cheque
                          But they are not accepted the cheque for insurance and saying that make payment only cash and not accepted the cheque and dont make the insurance certificate
                          At the time of visit showroom your members and supervisors misbehave us

                            I booked an electra in teknik motors bangalore last year. I canceled the order on september 1, 2017. I was promised a refund of my deposit amount (Rs.5, 000) within 10 days. It's been 7 months already and the refund is still not issued.

                            We spoke with multiple people within the dealership. Guys named kishore and arun were extremely rude. Kishore hung up on my dad (He was speaking politely) midway through a conversation. Even after like 50 phone calls 2 or 3 times of direct visit, they are still not providing the refund.

                            Considering the number of bikes getting booked in that dealership rs.5, 000 is nothing for them. Why is the dealership of the biggest bike seller in india acting so cheap?

                            I was thinking of rebooking an enfield this year. But, this experience has given rise to a lot of concerns for me. I am also telling my friends to beware of royal enfield dealerships.

                            Don't you guys have a proper mechanism to monitor your dealerships? When i visited the place, i saw a bunch of refund request forms unsettled by the dealership. So, is this a planned fraud by the company? Are you guys ever going to settle any cancellation refunds?

                            Never had such an experience with a dealership. I planned to opt for the best bike in the country. Now, i am experiencing the bitter taste of worst service.

                              Today i was driving along jessore road. After crossing the airport 3 point i wanted to take a u turn, however the police personnel on duty asked me to take the turn from the next cut. As i attempted to turn from the next cut a black bike no wb26a1669 came from my right side. There was no physical contact but the man wearing a 'royal enfield"shirt came out and abused me with filthy language and hit my front mirror with his fist. I politely told him that the policeman on duty has asked me to take that right turn, still he parked his bile in front of my car and continued to abuse me. I said nothing more and just noted down the number.
                              Although i do not ride a bike, i have a lot of respect for 'royal enfield" as a brand. Such type of behaviour has really shocked me. Does royal enfield employ such uneducated loafers? If this is so then i am sorry to say that your brand image will not take much time to take a nose dive.

                              Please take adequate action against the above person and let me know, else i will be forced to write in social media and other relevant forums

                                I took my bike on may 5 2018 from the time of 3rd servicing my vehicle is totally in a bad condition from that time it was over heating for 40kms and my battery is almost going weak and the self start is not working properly.
                                For these reasons I went to service center about 20 times in 2months after 3rd service in Royal Enfield quality motors karimnagar, Telangana

                                The problems which occurred to me
                                1 carburetor flaunge is unsealing itself
                                2 after going non-stop 60kms it stops due
                                to overheat
                                3 battery is getting weak before 1year of
                                bike for 9000kms
                                4 fuel consumption is very high it gives 28
                                on highways
                                5 self start is not working properly from the
                                date of purchase it works only for 2weeks
                                after servicing
                                6 carburetor is always getting rust and it
                                doesn't allow to start the vehicle

                                  श्रीमान मैंने अपनी हिमालयन बाइक के इंजन में आ रही तेज और असामान्य आवाज़ का कारण जानने के लिये कई बार आपसे पूछने की कोशिश कर चूका हूँ इसके लिए मैंने टेरिटरी मैनेजर, सर्विस सेण्टर, इ मेल, कस्टमर केयर द्वारा कई बार रिक्वेस्ट की किन्तु मुझे सिर्फ ये बताया गया है ( टेरिटरी मैनेजर के अनुसार ) मेरी बाइक के इंजन में मिटटी जाने के कारण ये समस्या आई है किन्तु मैं पहले भी आपसे पूरी समस्या, उसका सम्भव समाधान क्या हो सकता है की जानकारी मांग चूका हूँ किन्तु मुझे कोई उचित जवाब न देकर मुझे परेशान किया जा रहा है |
                                  मेरी बाइक लगभग 1.5 साल पुरानी है और आज तक 6000 KM चली है और अभी तक इस बाइक के लगभग सभी पार्ट्स में समस्या आ रही और रॉयल एनफील्ड भी ये बात स्वीकार करती है इस्सलिये रॉयल एनफील्ड ने चैसिस, रिम सीट, और टायर को छोडकर बाकी सभी पार्ट्स बदलवाए है और मुझे लगता है की मेरी बीके के इंजन में कुछ समस्या है जिसे आप छुपाना चाहते है और २ साल का वार्रेंटी पीरियड निकलवाना चाहते है |
                                  श्रीमान मैं जानना चाहता हु की क्या बाइक के इंजन में मिटटी जा सकती है ? और जब एक बार मिटटी जा सकती है तो क्या बार बार नहीं जाएगी ?
                                  क्या इंजन में मिटटी जाना बड़ा मैन्युफैक्चरि�... डिफेक्ट नहीं है ?
                                  रॉयल एनफील्ड द्वारा मेरी शिकायत बिना मेरी राय के साल्व्ड बता क्र डिलीट कर दी किन्तु मेरे द्वारा मांगी गई जानकारी आज तक नहीं दी गई |
                                  श्रीमान मैं चाहता हूँ की रॉयल एनफील्ड मुझे मेरे पैसे वापस दे और अपनी बाइक वापस ले |

                                      Hi team,

                                      This is my worst experience i ever had so far with any other brand bikes in india.

                                      I am getting some weird noises from engine, i just clocked only 2300 km, and given service to sri venkateswara bike zone, pallikaranai, on 06th feb 2018, i have clearly communicated about engine noise, never ever bothered about this noise, and just done general service and returned my bike stating all bsiv engines have the same problem. But day by day when engine gets heated, noise levels would be very high, there are chances if some one from rto sees, he may penalize for the sound pollution.

                                      And after clocking 3000 km i took bike royal enifield showroom near our office i speed motors (Pursawakkam) they confirmed there is major engine problem warranty needs to be claimed, and they suggested me to go venkateswara motors, since bike was bought from this showroom. And i took the bike to another showroom in greams road velvan motors, they too confirmed there is engine noise, need to check head cam, timing, if it is required need replace some parts through warranty, and advised me to go to venkateswara bike zone, since the bike was bought from that showroom.

                                      Really i got pissed off and i tried to contact customer care no "[protected]" this is devils no, tired for more than 4 hrs, and its by bad luck, unable to connect customer care.

                                      I shifted my house from pallikaranai, and now the distance from home to svbz is 30km, so that is the reason i was trying my luck in near by showroom, it is very strange that warranty can be claimed only from specific showroom like, where the bike is bought, in india no bike two wheeler brand has this condition.

                                      And on 04th april again i went to svbz and informed the same stating all showroom confirmed there is major problem in engine, warranty has to be claimed, even head engine specialist from svbz confirmed there is engine owling noise.

                                      But all of sudden i got sms we have rectified the problem, you can take delivery of your bike, i took delivery of bike on 05th april 2018, below are job card details.

                                      After riding 10km, again the noise started and this time sound was little high than earlier.

                                      So again i took my bike to svbz and told him i am having same problem, below are job card details.

                                      Second time : 06th april 2018

                                      Job card no: 4752 (Since bike is yet to be delivered, only temp partial no is given, once complete bill is settled full job no would be provided).

                                      Now engine specialist from svbz confirmed i will ride the bike for 30km and will check the problem, just give me 2 days.

                                      I am not able to understand, after purchasing bike for 1.5 lakh, defective products are delivered to customer, i think really there is no proper quality checks procedures are not followed in factory, even in this world people are talking about ai, block chains, robotics etc still royal enifield is following traditional methods of manufacturing.

                                      I am automobile enthusiast, i have seen couple of blogs, every where people are fed up of engine complaints, it so strange, even in official web site, if we see customer review, we can find so many complaints.

                                      I own, yamaha fzs, yamaha fz25, yamaha fz16, hero xtreme, suzuki gixxer, suzuki gs150, royal enifield electra cast iron 5speed, pulsar 180 and passion pro.

                                      One of the worst experience i had with this classic 350, now i have updated all my blogs about my story, at least my story can change the intention or prospective buyers of royal enifield.

                                      And also planning for legal course of action of my problem, only 2 yrs warranty is on record, but in real time there is no implementation.

                                      I have to travelling to pallikarnai from kolathur for claiming warranty couple of times, almost 70km up and down.
