Royal Enfield — Complaint: Bullet Standard 350 Misalignment Issue

On 08th Nov 2020 I purchased a motor vehicle from your dealership (Bullet Standard 350). Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because Alignment and balance of the bike isn’t straight or proper; it pulls towards the right while running. I found it when my arm and shoulder started hurting, I ride 52 kms every day from my home to office (Round trip) and for every minute I sit on my bike it feels like I am putting my life into risk. I visited your service center twice and every time your mechanic inspected the vehicle and agreed to fix it and each time they kept the vehicle in their possession for a complete day. When I collected the vehicle and started using it the problem was still there no work has been done and the person at service easily says that the problem has been fixed. During the first visit staff at the service center even denied that there is a problem with the vehicle on top of that the manager tried to convince me for that without even inspecting the vehicle as if he gifted me the vehicle for free and I have to use it as it is or deal with it on my own. It is my first bike I bought for myself as being an Indian it was a dream to have a Royal Enfield and to ride on it proudly instead, I’m filled with anxiety the moment I sit on it thinking of what worse could happen to me if the bike malfunctions for entire 52 kms, I am kind of getting mentally disturbed specially after spending 1.8 lakh on a bike and experiencing such a poor performance and the behavior from your staff. Every day I get home with shoulder ache and disappointment and regret.

My purpose here is not to accuse anyone in person but being such a huge organization, it is your duty to ensure customer satisfaction if defective products are delivered.

I would appreciate it if you could organize an arrangement for proper inspection by a technically expert mechanic or whomsoever to understand what exactly the issue is and resolve this matter as soon as possible. Right now, I’m helpless but I still hope to get your support by writing this email. I already took two leaves from the office hoping that problem would be fixed, which never happened. Now I cannot afford to take additional leaves again. As I am sure you can appreciate, I rely on my bike for transport and apart from the inconvenience, as I mentioned before this issue has also caused me health related problems.

I look forward to settling this matter amicably.
