Royal Enfield — dealership sold me damaged piece of bullet standard 500 | |||
Little did i know that when i would buy a royal enfield standard 500 from sai ram autocrafts, i would be literally taken for a ride. I got delivery of the bike from sairam auto in november 2015. Right from the first day the ride quality of the bike was questionable. When i talked to the service advisor, he just ignored my pleas stating that the bike needs some mileage and then it will be smooth. That never happened. I complained that the ride quality is not good from mechanical perspective and also that the rear supension didnt work at all. The service advisor paid no heed to it. After some time i had to change the rear springs as it was horrible to ride on indian roads. Little time after that noise in crank shaft came into picture. Luckily it was under warranty and dealership said that they will take care of ti and that the bike will be as good as new. Barely 3 months after that when i gave it for servicing in another dealership, then they informed me that the engine casing has a leak. I am fed up of constantly putting money in to this bike. This is totally below standards for really anything, and i urge re to please inquire about the subject and let me know what you intend to do about this unprofessionalism.
