It crucifies me to pen down this complaint of the pathetic service from Royal Enfield which is yet not resolved after 25 days, After so many follow up to call centre where the representative is only sitting to say a recorded apology without taking any action.
On last 18-Oct-2022 suddenly My Bike (WB20BC-8427) Royal Enfield Interceptor stopped in middle of the road and with the help of RSA it was sent to nearest service centre of Kolkata (Austin Motors).in 20th Oct it was informed me from the service centre that there is some Self Start motor problem which need to replace and it is not in stock and it will take some time, and also Please note that the Bike is only 3 yrs. Old and its and run about 4020 Km and it having some serious problem and which will cost a lot to replace .
However, I raise a complaint (CAS40845612S4S6W8) to customer care to speed up the process as Bike is something essential now a days Where as in 22nd of October I got a call from Royal Enfield that you issue has been noted and it will be resolved in next 7 days and also request to resolve the request and unknowingly with due to trust with Royal Enfield somehow, I convinced and agreed to resolve the case and from then the game changed to 360 degrees.
And then after I didn’t get a single call from the customer care and every day, I need to chess up by calling customer the issue but apart from saying sorry and highly apologized they didn’t do anything even I didn’t get a single call back from them which they promised to do after every call to give a resolution in next 24 Hours
I am most annoyed that I wasted my time every day calling in the call centre waiting for the issue to be resolved. My impression of Royal Enfield has been tarnished and also highly disappointed to invest in such a Brand those having a wider presence across India but unable to cater the minimal support in Metro City /Kolkata.
Now Certain question comes up in my mind,
Why only 3 yrs. old Bike having such a serious Problem? And company just ignoring the same by replacing the parts only and what is the guarantee it will not happened in every year so is that only made for some commercial aspect only which laid the customer in such feedle situation
What would happen if the same happened during a long drive?
Why has just a Bike been sold without proper Service support?
For me Interceptor 650 was one of dream but now seriously it’s a turn to disaster for me, I pledge to no recommended the Bike any more ☹
I am very disappointed and shocked from what happened and I didn’t find the proper solution and that’s very irritating.
I trust this is not that awful company wish to conduct service with any of the customer
