Royal Enfield — rear disc noise | |||
Dear sir/madam, I am writing to you in good faith and hoping you will be able to provide the solution about below reported issue which i am facing with my royal enfield gmg 350cc. Vehicle details: Purchase date :[protected] Chassis number: me3u3s5c1jb632461 Engine number : u3s5c1jb304114 Number of services completed on time till date : 3 Service center address : address: no 772, 100 ft rd, hal 2nd stage, indiranagar, bengaluru, karnataka 560038 Issue details: My rear disk is creating noise and getting spoiled, it has been replaced under warranty twice and still not functioning properly. Sequence of event: 1) i reported the issue with in 10 days of after purchase that the space between disc place and holder is not equal, and thats why it is creating notice. I went to service center and they did adjustment. Please note even after the space was not equal both side. 2) later on i reported this again, this time my disc plate was burned due to the same issue, and this time service team kept my bike for 4 days, they informed issue is fix. I tried again the noise was not their and i was hoping that it will not come. But the space around the dick and holder was not equal. 3) again, third time i was facing the same issue this time i also informed service team that you have put incorrect disc because i can see the gap between disc and screws (Even though they were completely tight). They ack'd it and replace the disc again. This time they also grind the holder to provide the space. This was not anticipated because the holder plate was design for all the gmg bike in same fashion and increasing the space would risk the malfunction. I still accepted it, hoping issue will not come but again it is appearing. Please note all these time i was paying for break pads, which was getting spoiled because of manufacturing defect, my only two wheeler vehicle was in service center each time for 3-4 days minimum. I could not ride more as i went abroad for 2 months, now when i am back, my disc is sounding again, silver coating burned and pad is also gone. Space around the disk and holder are not equal, please have a look at the photos. Attaching various images, detailing the problem, let me know if you need more images and videos which i captured. Ps: could you please let me know what should i do with the vehicle, its under warranty, service team is just replaced disc which is temporary solution and causing both you and me time and money.
