This is my frustrating complaint about my worst experience i had with royal enfield service center, sri velavan motors, greams road, chennai.

On 07th feb 2019, i went to royal enfield service center which was a part of sri velvan motors (Greams road branch). I am the very first person to enter the service center as it was 07 am in the morning (They usually have that slot available). I waited for 15-20 minutes and then finally service guy inspected my vehicle and it was my 5th paid service. I stressed them around 5 times that i will be going to bangalore for a ride by friday early morning. He agreed for everything and informed that i can take my bike by 3 pm. My bike had lots of complaints as well as bike color got faded. I am little afraid about taking my bike to bangalore with the present working condition. I stressed it again and again. After all the inspection, i was told that service would cost around 3500 rs. I was waiting for the service center till 3 30 pm for bike delivery, but didnt get. I again called the guy who gave his number to check for update. He said that he will pass along the update in next 10 minutes. Its almost 05 30 pm, but didnt get any call. I was travelling all the way from nanganallur which is nearly 18 kms from service center. Amidst of heavy traffic, i managed to go there by 6 and enquired about my bike.

The reply and attitude towards me is very shocking. They didnt do anything on my bike and finally they revealed it by 7 pm. Is that fair? Do they think we are fool to accept their filthy excuses? Worst reply and even after escalting to customer relationship manager, but no use. I was able to see that few customers were also shouting for the same concern.

At first thing, why they are accepting the service commitment if they cannot meet it? Is money more important or customer satisfaction. I cannot simply leave it as it is. Its a matter of 2.10 lakhs and 6 months waiting period. For them, its just another bike. But for me, its my one and only one and i cannot tolerate if a authorised service center handles a customer bike with no real care and they cannot live upto the mark for what we are paying for. I have gatepass copy, in time, bill and cant leave just like that. I took my office day off for this and they ruined my day and tempered me to the core.

Idle time: nearly 12 hours without any update.
Behavior: rude, unprofessional and money minded.

What else i can provide to stop this happening to another customer?
