Royal Enfield — Unprofessional after sales services defective product purchased - caused harassment and trauma

Hi,

I have taken Royal Enfield interceptor 650cc in the month of Feb 22 from Palladium and since then I have been facing battery issue where my bike automatically gets discharged midway and I have been struggling a lot to get it started.

First time I logged a complaint in the month of Aug22, later November 22 and then again in feb 23 at voyage kandivali west service center.

During this whole tenure the bike must have stopped starting many a times but some o the other way o have got it started by jump start as I have faced this issue multiple time riding.. also my bike has stopped starting more than 25-30 times throughout this tenure.

I have been insisting the authorised service center to replace the battery for almost a year now but they have also said no issues with battery and they charged it gave back to me.

The bike is interceptor premium segment I didn’t wish to buy a heavy CC to get my bike jump starry every time. How do you guys expect me to ride while my bike keeps on shutting or discharging battery every now and then.

After several complaints and trauma of handling this bike I am writing for your involvement to get me the battery replaced and help me ride and experience my bike for which I paid 3.7lakhs.

I am really frustrated now and want a final resolution to get my battery replaced as I received a faulty one from the beginning.

My last service was done for battery issue again in Apr 23 ODO meter -1050 approx. was asked to drive bike regularly in order to avoid battery problem. In a month I drove 900km and still faced same issue time and again.
I finally decided to get my battery checked locally and it was told to me the battery is weak, he insisted pls get it replaced.

I ended up in service Center to get my battery replaced.. as the issue is since the time I bought the bike.

Note this is 7th time I am coming to service Center for same problem, while the bike was in on condition in front of advisor and when he killed the switch and start back the bike didn’t start.

This time the service center kept my bike for more than 40 days and finally called me up saying the battery is okay in our observation despite no one drove the bike for 10 days straight and it still starts.

Could you please help me understand now- initially was told if you don’t drive 4days your bike will drain the battery but same doesn’t apply when it is standing in service centre?

I have been always ask that your km is way to less, my question is how should I drive if the bike keeps shutting off every now and then?
The battery is already concluded faulty by local mechanic.

Also, would like to bring attention that I was called twice to take my bike from service center but when asked is the battery changed no one called me back till date.

The bike is still in service center, I don’t have any problem with the service advisor but with RE as why this issue has been not resolved in the first place.

I am not sure who is responsible for my problem but definitely someone needs to compensate me for paying 3.7 lakhs and couldn’t even drive 2k km with peace of mind.
Today I got call again stating bike is fully ready but when I asked what was the problem if no battery issue, they don’t have the answer.
They just stating it’s starting now and this is the answer I have got for last 6 times I visited to service Center. no change
This wasn’t expected from brand like Royal Enfield!!

My time and energy is being wasted on this issue for a year now.
