Dear sir/madam,
I visited rto jayanagara, bengaluru on tuesday 1 oct 2019, at 11:00, for my llr as per appointment. There was a huge line of nearly 100 citizens waiting for their turn - at the first counter - for submitting the form and making the payment. This took around 2.5 hours for my turn to come. Thereafter, 2 more lines were ahead - one for original documents verification and the other for online test.
Requesting you to digitize the first two procedures - wherein citizens can submit forms and documents online, which will ensure saving if time and effort for both citizens and frustrated officials.
The system could be linked to other govt departments - eadhaar, passport, etc for original documents verification.
Also, the server performance needs to be improved as both at the first counter and the online test, server kept crashing or was extremely slow causing more delays.
Totally, i spent 4.5 hours for the whole procedure excluding my travel time - which amounted to a full day leave from work.
For your kind action action please. I look forward to implementation of ‘digital india’ initiative at rto.
