HOSPITAL BRANCH: Sagar hospital Kumar Swamy layout

My grandfather ( V.N.Munaswamy) had got done a surgery in Sagar hospital Kumar Swamy layout on 25/08/2022 Friday between 1:15 to 2:00pm and after recovery i.e., on 26/08/2022 Saturday the doctor had given permission to discharge the patient at 11:00 am but the staff or co-ordinator didn't respond quickly and they have sent the permission letter to bill desk at 6:00 pm and now they are telling us to wait until they get response from insurance company and if they cannot claim the insurance today (26/08/2022) we have to wait until Monday[protected] which adds up extra accommodation and service charge expenditure. My grandfather aged 79 years will not be able to stay there upto Monday as he is weak now . All this happened because of the staff or co-ordinator careless behaviour/ negligence which is making us to suffer more and wasting our time and money .

    Last time when we went to hospital doctor (KNN Pai)was late for 50 minutes... Today we have travelled around 4 hours to reach this hospital from far with rental car and spent around 5 to 6 k ...as we stuck in traffic for few minutes we just delayed to reach the hospital for 20 minutes... but that doctor(K N N pai) refuses to treat us just because we are late for few minutes. and told us to take appointment today and come tomorrow!!!...we brought all the reports with us. .. it's just matter of 5 minutes to check the report and prescribe the medicine according to that .. is this the way how they treat patients !?very disappointed with this doctor .and never gonna visit this hospital again...

    And i don't want this to resolve for me . because I am not visiting this hospital and that doctor Any more...but atleast make sure to reach this complaint to them.. because there are so many people who are spending lots of money to get treated here...and this is not soo simple for them to tell the patients to come on the next day ...

      I took my wife to Sagar Hospital in Kumaraswamy Layout, Bengaluru for a routine blood sugar test today at 7:00 am. The hospital boasts of a 24 x 7 lab. As usual, though the blood sample collection room was open, there was no technician. After waiting for some time, we looked around and found a technician in the analysis lab. She was kind to come and take the fasting blood sample. We were asked to come back 1 hour 45 minutes after breakfast for the post prandial blood sample. Accordingly, we we went back at 9:30 am. This time, the technician at the lab wanted us to wait until she had completed taking first sample from around 10 waiting people. She would not give preference to take second blood sample, which has a time limit. Thereupon I looked around for Customer Relations Manager for help but could not find him/her in the designated cabin. I sought help from registration counter on the first floor but they asked us to request the technician at the sample collection place, which we had already done. I asked them to lead me to the PRO but was told that all of them are in a meeting! Is it proper to leave patients to their fate and be at meetings without asking someone to be at their place for customer care until they return from their meetings? I insisted and got the contact number of PRO Mr.Pranjal who did not answer my first call. When he took my second call and while I was telling him the problem, he cut the conversation by whispering "meeting". Since I had no other solution, I asked the lab technician to give me a note in writing that results of post prandial blood sample analysis are valid even if taken beyond two hours of breakfast. She then called my wife to take the blood sample. By that time Mr.Pranjal also came there and I expressed my unhappiness at the way the lab and public relations work at Sagar Hospitals. I also gave a customer feedback using their standard form available in the lab. It is unfortunate that in spite of my earlier, similar complaint of 10th April 2021, there is no improvement seen. So much for the so called hi tech hospital and their accreditation.

        I went at 2:20pm to give test, they said come after 3:30pm nobody is available now. When asked if they can send someone for collection they said fine, took my address and sent somebody in the next 5-10mins - why was he not present in the location? Only to make money.

        So to round it up
        Covid test is only conducted after 3:30pm in order to create a rush. When rush is created people obviously opt for home collection of samples. They charge INR 400 as service charge home delivery per person even if it is from a single apartment building and same house. In my case, my husband's and mine. 800+200 per person and when asked for bill they say bill will be provided for covid test INR 800 and not for the collection amount. So why 400rs??? and why was I not informed before about the service charge pf 400Rs?

        Sagar hospital is Making this Covid situation a God damn money making business.

          As I had taken appointment online for 2pm and travelled from so far and reached hospital by 2pm. I was waiting for Doctor since so long but when the doctor reached at 3:15pm exactly, some other patient forcefully went inside and doctor started treating her instead of a Queue. Then what's the point of taking an Appointment and waiting for so long when there are no rules and regulations followed. I suggest not to go for such hospitals which are non compliant .

              We went to sagar hospitals in a situation of emergency where my father was seriously sick and had a stroke. We called the hospitals before taking the patient there and they clearly instructed us to come but after reaching there they did not even chk the patient and chased us away. They did not even ask what had happened to patient.
              Very bad staff and management i waould say. They behaved very badly telling they are not taking any patients now. How can an hospital say they don't take in patients in an emergency. I would like to complaint this to the highest authorities and won't rest untill this is addressed.

                Sakra hospital bangalore provides yellow fever vaccination when it is not listed as a certified institute to provide yellow fever vaccination.
                My husband was stopped in immigration and told about it when he was stopped and asked to show his yellow vaccination card.
                Being such a reputed hospital, this was not expected and was such a big inconvenience to get out of the situation.

                  service at the clinic

                  The sagar clinic adjacent to DVG Petrol bunk has given a very bad and a disheartening experience. The tests that we're to be done by the doctors was done by some assistants at the clinic. It was really uncomfortable and non-satisfactory.

                  Evening we came to collect the reports and have been waiting for more than 1.5 hours by now. The doctor has not yet reached for consultation. The patient is being waiting here now.

                  This intimation letter informs you that xcel company has field a case under the section of 73-74-75 of indian contract act 1872 for contract breach against you as under law that mention on the agreement that if you have not succeeded on your job or not completed then you have to pay the penalty amount.

                  Section 73. Imposes a duty on the party seeking damages to mitigate its loss,
                  Section 74. Compensation for breach of contract where penalty stipulated for when a contract has been broken,
                  Section 75. Party rightfully rescinding contract, entitled to compensation a person who rightfully rescinds a contract is entitled to consideration for any damage which he has sustained through the non-fulfillment of the contract.

                  So as you are not full fill the agreement rule, so that the company has take the help of legal proceeds for his compensation. So pay the amount as per agreement, so pay the amount as soon as possible to close your file, if the case being filed against you then you have in big loss of money for the legal procedure.

                    Hi,
                    We (My sister) were consulting doctor shantala s in kumaraswamy layout for the pregnency from the 1st month itself. On march 26th she was on her 27th week and morning she found water leakage @ 6'o clock so we took her to sagar hospital around 8. Staff people called dr shantala and she informed them to keep her under observation, we were in hospital till 12 since shantala was busy and later when she turned up she did few tests and examination and said everything is normal.
                    Again we went on 28th (Wednesday) since still she is having the water leakage problem, that time also she said its normal nothing wrong but still you want you admit we will get it checked with very negligence. Also physical examination was done by junior doctor instead of her.
                    Since we didn't satisfied with her reply we went for second opinion and there they has said its a proper leakage and due to lea=kage from few days infection is set in and we have to do operation. Doctor waited there for 2-3 days and delivery a pre mature baby and its in icu now.

                    If dr shanala would have recognized it in day1 and treated her with care this wouldn't have happened, she shattered our dream of having healthy baby.

                    My sister lost the baby because of incorrect diagnosis by Dr shantala and still there is no reply for my complaint, please take it forward to concerned department.

                      Dear mr mahendra,
                      I am dr. T. Chandrappa working in cambridge, england. I am reporting a complaint about your hsopital and the staff who treated my mother. My mother mrs. Hanumakka was seen by dr. Ropa rachel on the 18th at malathi mallya hospital and was advised to get admitted at sagar hspital, tilaknagar.
                      She was admitted on the 19th at your hospital. My concerns are that she was treated inapropriately, given very poor and dishonest information and in the end billed inappropriately as well.
                      Dr. Roopa rachel was dishonest in dealing with her. The patient and the family were intimidated and convinced to get her admitted in the first place.
                      She was told that she needs a video bronchoscopy. I understand it was not done on that day and blamed the patient. But my mother denies uncoperative to the doctors. She was taken to icu and bronchoscopy was attempted by the anesthetist and not dr. Roopa rachel as promised. I doubt if she is skilled to do that procedure. My mother had a complication and we were not given full information about what happened inside. We were told that procedure will be done next day ie 20th. But it was not done and she dicharged the patient with out the procedure. Patient and the family were intimidated and told that she has tb but there was no evidence. She advised us to start the treatment strightaway. We have since found out that there is no tb.
                      We were billed 45000 rupees. I understand that the hospital has charged us icu bed charges allthough she was there only for a procedure.
                      As a family we are very disappointed and upset. I tried to speak to the doctor but she did not give answers to what exactly happened inside the icu.
                      I would like you to investigate it and find asnwers for us.

                        I was suffering from high fever on 14th aug, 2017. I went to emergency block and got treatment as well as platelet count done. It was 64000. So they asked me to get admitted. As soon as they admitted me, they did ecg, xray and on the next day they did abdomonal scanning.
                        What for such a rush? They also did dengue tests. They did all these in 2 days to create a big bill. When the platelete count was 80000, i decided to get discharged. The total bill i had to pay was 25000 rupees, just for 2 days fever.

                        I need a refund for the extra tests that they did, which were not necessary.

                          Those two ladies in reception in sagar center Diabetes jayanagar. Today 09th nov'16 Morning we went they accepted 500 notes (took Consultant fee).And after a while doctor asked for blood test and they were not accepting 500 notes. Then why the hell they took for Consultant. We came far too and didn't carry any card took cash only. It was an emergency and still not bother... Dr. Tejaswini deepak she's good though but we can't come back as the receptionst react like this and Doctor is available only on monday, Tuesday & friday...its an emergency so we need to rush to another hospital... Stupid dumb [censored] ladies who where in the reception... The worst we have seen. Hope it happen to you and feel the same. How bad it was... Don't think only business.. Serve people in a nice way. Learn to be nice. Mannerless. Uneducated people.

                          Sagar Clinic, PadamanabNagar Bangalore is not in favor of Govt rules. Clinic is opposing to accept old 500 & 1000 Rs Notes and also demanding to charge 1.5 % ..

                            Sagar Hospitals Bangalore (Bannerghatta Road) is openly charging 1.5% on swiping of Credit and Debit cards for bill payments. The hospital is charging these extra charges over the billed amount to all the customers / patients and have a display board which says " Additional 1.5% will be charged on Credit / Debit card payment - Management Sagar Hospitals". This in the breach of circular issued by RBI vide RBI/2013-14/292 DBS.CO.PPD No. 3578 /11.01.005/2013-14 dated 17th September 2013. Please take immediate actions to save the citizen of India from this.

                              Worthless Hospital

                              My daughter (age 8 years) was admitted at Sagar hospital for Type 1 diabetes, the first day was all fine, later we had major issues with the hospital staff. The senior nurses there do not know how to administer a child's insulin injection for a type 1 diabetic. My daughter had wounds in her stomach due to wrong administration. Apart from that the private wards are not maintained properly and have malfunctioned equipment. They make you...

                              Hello,

                              I had a little tough experience at Sagar hospitals, banashankari a few weeks ago. The doctor advised for ECG and echo. I agree, there was a rush to get the tests done. But the concerned lab technician who do the echo or ECG are really bad. They try to do two people at a time. To get the tests done, the top apparel is be removed. If two people of the same gender are called inside, then there is absolutely no issue....

                              Abnormal fees

                              My relative got admitted to Sagar Hospital in Jaya Nagar (Bannerghatta Raod) Bangalore. He was admitted on 21-Feb-2011 because he was diagnised with Lung and Kidney infection. Almost same day of admission he was moved in to ICU. A day later we were told that he needs to be operated to get the Lungs clear ann they got his wife to sign some papers as "standard" procedure. Before he was operated we were informed that he got heart attack...

                              Dr Mohammed Khalid a dentist in Sagar hospitals who attended my daughter for tooth pain was careless in checking her and immediately asked for a X ray to be done at Raghavs for resons best known to him and when we took the same he told us tht she had 3 decays for which treatment would cost 20000 Rupees since it is a big hospital other option we got was come to his clinic he will give 15% discount

                              we panicked and took another opinion from a specialist who overuled all the options and it was just an infection which can be cured with medication and we followed the same we went back to this doctor Dr Khalid orthodontist by profession and asked him for the X ray he refused to give it back saying it was misplaced

                              we would like to bring this to the notice of Chairman Dr Prema chandra sagar how careless a Doctor in a prestigious hospital behave

                              We bought this to the notice of the medical director Dr Mohan Reddy too he told he will take action against the Doctors

                              We should be doctors not quacks operating under prestigious names

                                Dr Mohammed Khalid MDS Orthodontist working with Esteemed Sagar Hospital is doing day light robbery with his patients. When i first went to him asking him for a check up as i had tooth pain to Sagar hospital i saw this doctor whom the front dest reffered. on meeting this doctor he told me that i have an infection and needed treatment and told me that i wanted cleaning and polishing also then he told me to come to his clinis nearby gave me his card and told he will give discount to me at the clinic after 3 days.
                                On going the clinic he told me to pay 1500 for the cleaning and polishing services which a junior without experience did and the stains still remain.
                                later he told me to undergo braces which he told me to get one Xray from Raghavs only on seeing the X ray he told they are 3 teeth affected and pay 5000 immediately and another 10000 rupees for the cap for the canal job on further questioning he told me he is the best doctor in Jayangar and no body can match me
                                Then i thought of approaching another specialist to take an opinion i then went to Dr Das who saw me took an xray imediately and rubbished all tht Dr Khalid had said
                                We went back to Dr Khalid and asked for the Xray he refused to give the Xray for which i had paid saying it is misplaced
                                this is the story of a Doctor or a Quack in bussiness in a prestigious hospital call sagar hospital
                                Request hospital authorities to take note of such Quacks in bussiness
