I am an investor in Sahara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. (Membership No.[protected], Account No. [protected]) and had invested amounts regularly over a period of more than 20 years in its investor schemes. As per certificates issued by Sahara/Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. at Roorkee, I was to receive a redemption amount of Rs. 5, 69, 600/- on the maturity date of 25/5/2021. However, the amount has not been paid to me even after more than 8 months of the maturity date.
I am a senior citizen, aged 78 Years, having retired from service as a Professor at I.I.T. Roorkee. My earnings include pension and maturity amounts from investments made in the schemes like the one of Sahara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. It is a source of great concern and hardship for me that Sahara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. has not honored its written commitment of making payment of the redemption amount on the maturity date.
I have been dealing with Mr. Anil Kumar Rao, the local Manager of Sahara India at its Roorkee office. His contact number is[protected]. Another employee at the same office of Sahara India is Ms. Swati and her contact number is[protected]. I received monthly cheques of Rs. 6171/- from Sahara India from these two people in the last few years. Anil Rao, the authorized representative of Sahara India at Roorkee, told me that the redemption amount would be paid in September 2021. In our next conversation, he shifted the payment date to October 2021, but no payment has been made till date.
I had also written an email to the email address of the company on July 10, 2021, but, there has been no response so far.
Please help in getting the maturity amount of Rs. 5, 69, 600/-, along with interest, from Sahara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. without any more delay.
