Sahara India Pariwar — non clearance of refund amount of rs 10418.18 | |||||
From 29 mar - 31 mar 2018, i stayed at sahara star for a period of 2 nights with family. On checking in, i was told that the hotel would block rs 30000/- against my debit card and that during check out, the balance amount would be auto credited in my account after deductions of stay and allied charges. On checking out, i was confirmed that the balance amount of rs 10418.18 would be auto credited in my account. It did not happen. Repeated queries through telephone calls and email id elicited lukewarm replies. After 15days, i went back to the hotel sahara star from pune and collected the cash from the duty manager, mr neeraj. On my return back to pune after a gap of 7 days, i found the same amount as once again having been debited, the details of which was reflected in my transaction alert from my bank. This was an unauthorised deduction. Once again, i got in touch with mr neeraj and was told that he would look into the matter. My email forwarded to him elicited no reply. Phone calls are attended to by saying that they are looking into it. This unprofessional behaviour, and mental harassment caused to me needs to be addressed by the necessary authorities at the earliest and balance amount auto credited to my account.
