To, The General Manager Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited Lucknow – 226 024 Subject: Refund of my deposits amount of Rs.1, 00, 000/- along with interest Sir, I, Bhavna Gulati, have got membership in your society under the membership number [protected]. I had deposited the following amount with the society on 28.09.2018 Receipt Number Date Amt. Maturity Amt. Maturity Date 28.09.2018 50, 000/- 58, 150/- 28.03.2020 28.09.2018 50, 000/- 58, 150/- 28.03.2020 Total 1, 00, 000/- 1, 16, 300/- The scan copies of receipts are enclosed for your reference. As the above amount was deposited for 18 months from 28.09.2018, the same was to be given back to me on 28.03.2020. When I contacted the society in the month of March’2020, I was advised that the society was not able to look into the same due to lockdown and will pay the entire amount in June’2020 along with interest upto the date of payment. Though I was in need of my funds desperately, I still accepted the request of society. During the period from June’2020 till today, I have contacted the society many times and requested to pay back the above amount along with interest till date, but the same has not been returned to me. I through this letter once again request the society to return the above amount of Rs.1, 16, 300/- along with interest till date immediately to avoid any unpleasantness in the matter. As my husband’s health is not going well for last many months and doctors have advised him for surgery but due to non availability of funds we are not able to go for surgery and my husband’s life is at risk, I do hope that you will understand my situation and return the above amount immediately. I have attached doctor’s prescription also. In case, the above amount along with interest till date is not returned to me within 7 days from the receipt of this letter, I will have no option except taking legal action against the society. Now, today it is almost 3 & half years above the redemption maturity date i.e 30.09.2019.

In case, the above amount along with interest till date is not returned to me within 7 days from the receipt of this letter, I will have no option except taking legal action against the society.
