Very Disappointing Experience
I booked a Do Dham Yatra package for Badrinath and Kedarnath on 09 September 2026 based on the hotel details, locations, and payment terms that were mutually agreed upon before booking. I also paid the advance amount as per the agreed terms. Supporting documents, including the agreed hotel details and payment terms, are available.
However, just two days before the start of the trip, the travel agency changed two of the promised hotels and started demanding 100% payment before commencement of the tour, which was not part of the original agreement.
One of the major concerns was the accommodation at Badrinath. Initially, a hotel located approximately 500 meters from Badrinath Temple was promised. Later, a hotel around 20 km away from the temple was offered instead, which was significantly different from the original commitment.
Despite having written confirmation of the agreed terms, the commitments made at the time of booking were not honored. I am also facing difficulty in obtaining either the originally promised hotel arrangement or a refund of the amount paid Was this information helpful? |
