This is not just for information but to warn all the people that samrat travels (Phulpukur, chinsurah) is basically a fraud, irresponsible and totally mismanaged sub-agency. The tour managers are callous and keep on bluffing. The instance created by shibendu mallick-tour manager, kinnaur on 26.09.17 is given as follows - we were given the written schedule of sangla, kalpa, kinnaur tour where we were supposed to reach sangla on 30.09.17. We were even taken to sangla at 5:40 p. M. From shimla which took around 10 hrs, but came to know that the hotel lake view resort was booked by another travel agency. We had no place to stay in sangla. At 6 p. M. During evening we had to travel from sangla to kalpa in such a risky situation and reached there at 9:30 p. M night. After that they were telling that there was no hotel booking for two families. They harassed us tremendously. On that night they could manage a hotel in kalpa but failed to give accommodation next day. Next day the same thing happened and they could not give accommodation to two families. Find the video where the words were exchanged during that time.
They used to give lunch at such a delayed time that people will skip either evening snacks or dinner and this money can be cheated by the tour manager. Even they provided lunch at the roadside, not in a proper eatery as shown in the picture.
Tremendous bitter experience with a perfect third-class tour operator, better to say a perfect fraud travel sub-agency run by alok pathak.
