Samsonite India — issue with warranty and repair | |||||
Hi I am a loyal samsonite person. Have always been purchasing samsonite luggage bags only. As far as i know, samsonite gives a world wide guarantee of 10 years (Atleast they say so when purchasing a product) In the year june 2016, i was visiting my sister in california where i went for shopping to livermore outlet mall. I purchased a black luggage bag of samsonite from ur store located over there. Ofcourse i was told about the 10 year world wide guarantee. Last year in dec 2017, i was again visiting her and on my way back to india through air india flight on 28th december, my luggage was hampered such that the i wasn’t able to pull my samsonite bag’s trolley after landing in india. I went to the samsonite store (Bagzone) located in the great india place mall on the first floor. They opened the bag and told me that the trolley is bend. I asked them to get it rectified or changed (Whatever best possible they could do) but to my surprise, i was informed that they can’t do anything about my trolley, neither rectify nor change it. When asked about the guarantee policy, they could not give any satisfactory reply. Is this the prize of being a loyal samsonite person. What about ur false and fraudulent commitments made at the time of purchase o[censored]r product? I am sending u this mail to get a satisfactory reply from the samsonite team and clarification of why - as a customer - should i be the sufferer for no fault of mine? The company dint replace or rectify my product and air india mishandled my luggage. Was this information helpful? | |||||
