Sandeepani aka "Moneypani" or "Fraudpani" is a bogus course in vlsi systems. The course description says a lot, but in practice there is little content. The admission starts with interaction with a woman named Rohini Nag, who is a terrible liar. She tells everyone that there is 100% placement for last many batches, whereas in reality it is 5%-10%. The course fee listed on the website is 1 lakh, but if you bargain you can take the course for even Rs.40, 000. The course duration is 4 month, but again this also drags for 9 months. The whole program is managed by two people, one a terrible, power hungry and emotionally unstable lady called Deepa Jaishankar and another a complete fraud called Satish b.k. This Satish tells everyone that there is unlimited interview opportunities for everyone and you can get your choice job. And the package he promises is between 3.6 lacs and 6 lakhs and asks the student to wait till the course gets over. But please dont believe any of this. Once the course is over his tone changes, he starts shouting at anyone who approaches him regarding his earlier promises on placement. The placement coordinator is another fraud named Yogishwar. The kind of companies that visit Sandeepani are also stupid like Datapatterns, Thotaka technologies, satvattech etc.Sometimes big names like xilinx, broadcom, cadence etc. come, but they are for tech support or such lower end positions, so that it is not worth joining. Again all these positions are intern. Dont believe the fabricated data they are putting on their website. There are two trainers named Padmanabhan and Mahesh, out of which Padmanabhan is ok, Mahesh is useless. Trainers are of ok quality. At any point if you express your dissatisfaction to Deepa, she makes a big fuss and start blaming the student himself. This lady is nasty and plays all kind of political games. Overall this course is worth only Rs.25, 000 - Rs.30, 000. Please dont waste your hard earned money on this bogus program. Better join some other institute in Banglore which are cheaper. Do a google and you can find 20-30 such institutes in Bangalore alone. ---- VLSI 68 batch student.
