I required repair service for my dishwasher by ifb and i found a website which seemed very genuine

Both of them are major scams.
Selva kumar is one of the main men behind these scams.
When you google ifb dishwasher service center it shows you these websites or service centre's in mathikere or laggare.
They answer and insist that it's a good plan to repair with them and act like it's genuine and very reliable. They then asked us to pay them online through just dial payment portal for the new parts - 4400 and 6600 so they could buy them. We paid them online and they came and promptly took the dishwasher away and changed some parts and after many calls and lots of delay, they returned it and explained how it worked. They then charged 2000 for soap which is actually 100rs. Plus 5600 labor charges. Do not get scammed by these frauds. Now we're going to complain to consumer bureau and file a police complaint since the machine now does not work and they do not respond to our phone calls. Beware. Do not use their services.

Hi,
Would you able to help withe actual service of my product? The company contacted me again and demanded me to take down my review and said they would send somebody and it's been over a month once again. Absolute scam of a service and they are using the IFB name wrongly too. Please let me know how I can actually get my product fixed by an authentic IFB partner in Bangalore. Poorest customer experience till date spanning over multiple months now and costing many thousands of rupees and lots of time and effort as well.

I, Mrs Vanitha Mudaliar, through my son Mr Niranjan had lodged a complaint with Classic Services after getting the number from Google Search for Faber Services. The call was answered by Mr Selva Kumar, Sandesh Enterprises, who, when asked claimed that he was the Faber Company Service Manager and said the would depute a technician. The Hob was purchased in June 2020 just over a year ago.

A Technician from Classic Services visited the site and claimed that the Hob needed to be taken for repair to the service centre. Since the Faber Chimney also required service, the same was also taken for repair. I received a call from Mr Selva Kumar in the evening claiming that the Chimney motor was not working and needed to be changed for around Rs 7000. He also claimed that the Hob had a lot of Sambar and other liquid poured into it and the burners needed to be replaced. He claimed Italian burners costed Rs 17000 and Indian Burners costed Rs 8000. He shared a photograph of the burner. He mentioned the same to Mr Niranjan and shared the photo to him as well. When I mentioned that this was not my burner at all, he quickly proceeded to delete the photograph. He then accepted that he had sent the wrong photo by mistake.

He also told Mr Niranjan that Faber was using Chinese spares and it was better not to buy faber in future. When checked repeatedly he claimed to be the Faber Company Service Manager. Since the charges were exhorbitant, we asked him to return the hob and Chimney in as is where is condition. He however claimed that the Chimney had already been repaired as per instructions and we had to charged for the same.

On checking with the showroom we lodged a complaint with Faber call centre who deputed a technician to our residence on 25th June. The Engineer examined the Chimney and hob sent back by Classic Services and the findings were as follows :

1. The Hob which was returned without repair did not require any service or replacement after all. A minor adjustment of fixing the burner rectified the problem.
2. On examining the chimney it was found that the motor had indeed not been replaced but had been cleaned, painted and fixed back.
3. Faber does not take Hob from customer location for repair but always repairs on site.

In light of the above it is very clear that Classic Services had tried to cheat me, an 81 year old lady, considering my age and it was only Faber Company’s timely intervention and inspection with brought the entire episode to light.

In the light of the above, I have clearly mentioned to Mr Selvakumar through my son Mr Niranjan that no payment will be made to classic services. However, he continues to demand payment for which I will have no option but to lodge a complaint with the authorities to take action against this fraud. No further oral discussion will be entertained and all further action will be dealt with the authorities if any.
