[Resolved]  Sangeetha Mobiles — Defective product sold

I visited sangeetha mobiles store in inorbit mall, bangalore to buy a good tablet in a good brand at affordable price. The guys in the store did a lot of marketing and made me buy a swype tablet. They mentioned it had a 3d display and also under warranty onsite pickup service etc., they could not give a demo because they dont have any opened boxes. I paid and realized that there is nothing like 3d in it after opening the box. The goggles to be used along with tablet were also broken. I have requested for an option to go for a different tablet but i was not allowed. They opened another box and gave goggles from it. So i could not argue further and took it home. From the day 1 charger kept making sound when switched on. After 3 days charger stopped working. Slowly two lines appeared on the display. I took everything to the store. They mentioned, they are no more responsible after a sale. We had only one option that is to call onsite people. After onsite people collected the tablet, they informed us that we should pay about 350/- for charger repair and 850/- for display repair. The total cost of tablet is around 4000/-. How can i spend another 1200/- within one week for a repair? We have done a very normal usage of the tablet and what could cause such a damage costing us so much for repair? I really dont know what to do with such a defective product. I argued with onsite on why charges, they mentioned they have no link with sangeetha mobiles. They take the additional money we pay to sangeetha and provide pickup and drop. So i requested them to give back the defective product as is and kept at home. I would really want to explore returning this tablet and buying a different one from different brand even if it costs more. I dont understand why sangeetha mobiles has to do marketing and promotions for such brands and waste the customers money. Mobile stores like sangeetha should suggest best to customers among the brands available in the market for their good future. Otherwise customers like me will choose to walk in to authorized stores of actual brands only and not to sangeetha or any other resellers. I would appreciate any justice done to the amount i paid. 4000/- rs is not worth a tablet which can be used for 3 days. Raja babu ([protected])

I have not received any call or response on this complaint.. It has been a month. The product is just lying unused.
I think it is better to buy electronics in branded stores rather than resellers like this who market and sell defective pieces.
I hope I have not lost 4000/- for a two day fantasy with this tablet. Such a useless expense.
