Sangeetha Mobiles — Insurance Fraud by sangeetha

I purchased a iPhone 13 pro max on 19/11/2021 from the Sangeetha franchise in Gandhinagar Bangalore. The salespeople there told me to purchase an insurance package for ₹12711 that will be valid for 12 months in case any breakages happen, it will be useful they said. They also added that in case the phone is absolutely safe and I don't claim the insurance for 12 months, I can come anytime later and collect my full refund back.
In November 2022, I called the Sangeetha store, and the then salesperson (Dhananjay), who had assured me that the refund could be claimed whenever I visit the store with my bills.
A week back when I visited the store to get my refund, the Sangeetha store guy completely denied my refund on the fact that the refund could have been claimed only on the 13th month and I visited the store in the 16th month.

It was also only revealed to me that day that Dhananjay, the Sangeetha sales guy who had sold me the phone is now no longer a part of Sangeetha, so his words don't matter.

I also told them that I did not receive a single call or message or email from Sangeetha as a reminder to collect my refund but the store manager screamed that they did their job right. When I asked him to show any log, he completely refused.

I also called the customer care number given in the cheque, they asked me to speak to the store manager only who completely denied that he will not give me my refund since I am late in claiming that.
Note: nowhere in the bill, its mentioned that the refund can be claimed until the 13th month. This was also never informed to me else I would have collected my refund.

This is hypocrisy at its peak, clearly, the Sangeetha Franchise store manager is duping me with policies that were never mentioned. I feel cheated with such a huge amount that I had paid and there has been no response for over 30 days even after getting in touch with their customer service team

I have been facing the same problem with Sangeetha mobiles, Puliangudi.

I had purchased a one plus 9 pro on Nov 22, it's been more than a year, I've been calling them every other day to get my refund and all they do is ignore by saying that the people who sold it to me are no longer with the store.

After repetitive calls they have replied to me saying that they would only refund the amount to my Sangeetha wallet and I can only claim by purchasing another gadget, when i was clearly told that if i has not claimed my insurance i would get my money back to my account.

I have paid - 5, 931 ₹ for the insurance
