Savaari took our reservation for a 7-day himachal trip based on a per mile rental and out sourced to a third party taxi for daily rental (30% less cost) without even providing the terms and conditions to the driver. The taxi driver (Sanjay kumar – reg. No - hp 01 d 4616) didn’t even know the name of the company ‘savaari car rentals’.
We had to hire other taxis and wait in cold weather as the driver was reluctant to take us anywhere after 5pm. Savaari left our safety and fate on the driver’s mercy and spoiled our vacation.
If we asked him to take us to a specific place he didn’t take us and always insisted that the place was not in the itinerary provided to him.
Our struggle started from day-1 as the driver said it was a daily based rental so we would have to travel between 9am to 5pm. He wanted to limit travel time and mileage to save fuel. He was not responding to/answering any of our questions thinking that we would ask him to take us to different places.
I called the savaari customer service daily and asked for a change of the cab driver or to cancel my reservation. Always the savaari customer executive used to say, “ we will talk to the driver, resolve the issues and will call you back.” they never called me back.
Savaari doesn't have any control over the drivers once they outsource them after taking their commission amount. I personally feel that this is a very bad way of doing business.
Basically savaari is acting as a broker, collecting the commission amount and leaving their customer’s safety and fate to the mercy of the driver.
Savaari simply sent an apology via e-mail and closed the matter. I need an answer from the savaari management for the problems faced by me and the loss of my valuable time caused due to the mismanagement by their firm despite several complaints. Was this information helpful? |
