Im sailing in the same boat. I got my card blocked as I was promised to be charged only 50 rs for the 6 tickets but I was charged 1730 rs. I too am filling the customer dispute form to recover the moneyiiz

Savethedeals.in deducted rupees 1730 from my account by saying that they charged only rupees 50. This is totally a fraud. So, I want my money back or else will go to consumer court.

So, I have done the transaction for rs 50 & they deducted rs 1730 from my account.and i have not received any voucher also. i want only MONEY, i don't want any voucher now. So 1st You block the cards which one u have used, as they can use the same details and can take the more money from your account.
Then inform to ur respective bank regarding this and they will take some serious action for this.

I received a link saying Rs.1, 700 supermarket shopping in Rs. 50. I clicked on it. I was asked for credit card information. Thinking that I will be charged Rs.50, I entered the information. To my surprise, I got the SMS that Rs.1730 has been debited from my card. I have written an email to this effect but there is no response.
It seems to be a fraud website fooling all..

Savethedeals website is the biggest fraud site in the world where they are cheating people by sending a mail saying that " Buy 6 movie tickets for just 50 Rs and this offer is only for you" once i click on that link it is asking for card details where nothing to see the amount details over there but once i entered the card details they charged 1730rs.

The amount is debited from the card without even asking for OTP password.

The receipts were provided as requested by the terms and conditions but the amount is yet not credited back to my account.

I send many emails on their support email but no one replies to my emails. On 11th Aug 2014 I got a mail from [protected]@yahoo.com Actually it is given in mail that just you pay 50/- and you can you 1700/- in any restaurant not only that the remaining details are not given once i entered my card details without OTP they have charged 1730/- immediately i have unsubscribed that and sent a request mail for refund my amount which they have debited from my account not only that as per RBI guidelines every online transaction should be completed by OTP only there is no such a issue i have observed which will come definitely under CYBER CRIME. hope so you will respond about this issue regarding this i have send many mails but i didn't find any response. You all have to do one thing just send them an email on support address that you havent subscribed about this and you don't want to continue the services so please cancel your service and refund me the amount which is alreday done on my card without any OTP or Netsecure Code.
This is a totally fraud transaction so i humbly request you to refund my money as soon as possible other wise i am gonna make a dispute with my bank regarding this transaction and will do a chargeback.
after sending this email you have to wait for few days and you will be recieving an email regarding the refund and cancellation of the service.

I think parulbhutani786 is a fraud guy and a dummy placed by the website to give good reviews or else how can a transaction without a OTP get cleared? If this was a genuine company then it wud ve followed RBI guidelines.. I have disputed same to citibank customer care but they had guide me this s customers mistake they can't help. I had shown ad of savethedeals.in website. There was an offer of Rs. 50 for 6 Movie tickets. I clicked on link, then I entered the debit card details only, I haven't enter any 3D SECURE PIN or OTP PASSWORD but my amount deducted Rs1730 from my account. I didn't got any details of transacting amount Rs1730 or completion of transaction.

As per the rules and Guidelines, any ONLINE transaction can not happen without 3D SECURE PIN or OTP Password. This is against all the
bank Norms.

Please help us to solve this problem. This Site (savethedeals.in ) cheating everyone and making money. This is a CYBER CRIME.

Guys i feel sorry for you all..
I don't think you will be able to retrieve your money back. The people making this bogus will not be of indian origin..
Even if you find them they will be in USA or UK and the law pertaining to their country will be different from ours and you need to take action accordingly. It will take more than 2-3 years for convicting them and prove their guilty. By that time you would have spent more than 50 times of your money than what you had lost.

You should have been careful..

Form a group, consult with a lawyer of high court or supreme court, write a compaint to cybercrime cell and ask them to blacklist the website and prevent them from cheating more people and also to trace back their identity.

deducted Rs1730 from my canara visa credit card account. I didn't get any details of transacting
amount Rs1730 or completion of transaction, and after some time i
received a text msg that the amount 1730 got deducted. Please refund my amount
other wise i will take a strict legal action against you and your website. I want my
money back within 3 days else i will take this case to higher govt

Hi I also got cheated in the same way. But as i used the credit card of SBI . So I complaint to them that i didn't get the services against which my payment got deducted & also the amount which was shown on the screen was different from the amount deducted. Thanks to those guys of SBI . They temporarily credited the amount of 1730/- in my account & asked to wait for 120 days. They will check the same about the services & if Save the deals got proved wrong they will take action against them else they will deduct my amount of Rs 1730/-.

I suggest you to do the same. As if max people complain the same. May be we get some positive output.

You all follow the same procedure. Also pls complain to your Credit Card Company. They will also search the fraud company. They provide me the timely support by crediting Rs 1730 against not getting thje services. They will look into the problem & search the culprit. If they will find it they will take action against them else they will reverse the Credited amount.

Same thing also happened to me, i got a mail from Savethedeals, i think that it is just 50 so that i enter the card details to transact only 50/- on 20.09.2014, but when am checking my sbi credit card account on 26.09.2014 they again deduct 1680/- from my credit card on 23.09.2014 without any further notice, OTP . After that am contacting the sbi customer card they said to me some unsecured sites will divert the OTP s. But when am checking the SavetheDeals website it is Https, then what is the use of https and bank people unable to revert back my money, in this case kindly tell someone whose mistake involved, why don't you bank persons chargeback this amount, they don't have such rights ? there is no end for this fraudsters, am see the reviews after, somany people struggling from 05 august onwords, who will stop this cybercrime.

SAVETHEDEALS.IN is a scam and fraud (An European run fake company)
SAVE YOURSELF, DO A CHARGEBACK.

Always do a CHARGEBACK whenever you notice the transaction is not in the terms you have understood. Just call up the bank ASAP and give as much information as possible and tell them to do a chargeback so they will reverse the transaction.

Generally online transactions have a hold period before funds are transferred to the merchant but after this period (days to a week atmost) banks can reverse the transaction.

READ THIS TO AVOID HANDLE ANY ONLINE TRANSACTION FRAUD.

1. Always keep the bank customer care number ready
2. If there is something wrong with the transaction call up the bank and file a CHARGEBACK ASAP, max 2 days
3. This works by the fact that bank holds the funds before they are transferred to the merchant
4. Be sure where you enter your card details. For example payumoney.com is safe to enter because they offer buyer protection program.

NOTE: savethedeals.in are fraudsters based in Europe and don't fall for their too good to believe offers.

I also trapped in this frauad. can anyone help for my money to get back. i will be thankful to him/her and will give him/her a small gift, after getting my money back.

Well today it happened with me as well. I have advised my Credit Card Issuers but in India they do not have the services of Chargeback otherwise it will be difficult for these kind of website/companies to wok in India.

The same thing happend to me without my knowledge, i thought it was Rs.50 and the amout Rs.1730 deducted from my account, There is no contact number available in that website. So we cannot call them directly and explain out situation. I am sending continous mails they didnt try to explain us also. In the site it was informed that they will refund the money after showing them the purchase proof, and refund was only in paypal account, i dont have the account also... and itwas informed that they will take Rs.1680 for every 30 days. Since i gave the card details, i am afraid whether they will take the amount after 72 hours without my knowledge. There is no proper answers for any of our questions.
They only put what they will do in FAQ questions and no options for us to get back our money...

Kindly any one helpus with come out of it and get back our amount...

Even they cut 1730 from my account also. Even the password option also didn't came before the payment . This is totally fake . I am afraid that they can cut 1680 every month . Can any one suggest that what to do to avoid this 1680 deduction every month.

The same thing happened to me today only :( I wish i could have seen your comments before. To my utter surprise even our card didnt ask "Do you want to proceed". This is totally fraud. I didnt mail them as I knw it wont be fruitful :( I immediately unsubscribe myself in order to save Rs 1680 every month. If anyone finds the solution pls help :(

To all the above people thanks for ur valuable comment i was saved in the nick of time. Anyways please ask ur credit card company to check if there is any recurring monthly charges or not. If there are any charges i request you to please cancel them asap. You have to unsubscribe from the site within 72 hrs to stop the monthly charges.

I think as per their term & conditions, Rs. 1680 is monthly subscription charges which is every month renewal without any confirmation..
and one think they describe on their term is that you has to purchase 6 movie ticket of any cinema than after you have to send a scan copy of proof of your tickets on [protected]@savethedeals.com than after they will revert back your whole amount which you expand for tickets...

I didn't got any details of transacting amount Rs1730 or completion of transaction, and after some time i recieved a text msg that the amount got deducted. Please refund my amout other wise ill take a strict action againt your website. I want my money back within 2 days else ill take this case to higher govt authorities.

Just before keying in the cc details.. I happened to check this site and thanks to all.. I got saved...I wanted to post something in relevant to this on my knowledge.. This is a site not based in India and hence they are not under the purview of the RBI security norms... this is the reason you have not got the 3D secure page or the OTP confirmation while making the payment. If you have used net banking or debit card, I am not sure if there is any way, you can recover the money...but if you have used a credit card... you can raise a complaint with your bank and they can look into it. As far as my knowledge goes.. They have about 90 days to review and refund the money back to you. They are bound to do it! Please check with the respective banks./. I will check more on this and post soon..

1730 was debited from my account too. Never enter details of your card.

Completely fake and making fool. You just have to block your acrd otherwise thay deduct the money every month evenif you have unsubsidized

I called my bank (HDFC) to inform them of the fraudulent transaction. They were aware about it as they were getting a lot of calls. They said that they would block my credit card and would also put the transaction under dispute. They asked me to send them a mail regarding the same.

Savethedeals is a scam site, all thanks to my office internet which saved me from getting trapped.
I saw this deal of 6 movie tickets in Rs. 50 and was very excited at home, but I was getting late for my office and thought this offer being exclusive for me, I could avail it in the office some time. But my office internet warned me and blocked this site immediately. I was shocked to see that and googled about it, and then came to know that I was about to become a victim.
Folks, who have already got trapped, please raise this concern immediately with the bank. Tell them that you were never asked for any OTP or, any confirmation before proceeeding to pay the amount. They have to refund your amount in any case or, at least take some action reagrding this in the knowledge of RBI.

If someone tells that you will get a product worth 500rs at 50rs, without asking any details these money greedy people first pay money and if they come to know about the terms and conditions they get annoyed and irritated..

This is a genuine website. Your money refund is purely with the discretion of the website. Go to Savethedeals.in website scroll to the bottom and you will find a "Legal notice" Read it...

Don't blame the website for your mistake and moreover it's your duty to read the terms and condition before signing a deal..
Also if they give 6 tickets for 50rs it's a good deal and if they put some conditions it's a fake deal what kind of logic is this..???

It's purely a legal website running as per Information Technology Act 2000, you can't file any case if they say they won't refund your money back.. Even if you file a case you will not win.. Again you will lose your money...

Be patient and send a mail to the customer service to refund your money and wait fingers crossed hoping that they will give you a refund.. Thats all you can do..

Unless you read the terms and conditions carefully before paying for any deals like this, you will be losing your hard earned money again and again...

I did the transaction Rs 1730/- from my ICICI Account without 3d no. on 15 Aug 2014. I think that how its transfered without 3d no or pin no. How can ICICI Bank debit in my account without any pin no or 3d. no. So I want my Rs.1730/- refund.If its not came in my account i will claim to Savedeals.in and ICICI Bank also and also complain to media, police ext.

It looks like the sie is clearly exploiting the loopholes in the online banking system in India. Before doing the transaction i had a thought of generating a virtual card worth Rs.50, but then i had confidence that it would ask for authentication before the transaction but to my surprise, the transaction completed in no time without OTP. I had called immediately sbi card customer care, and it looked like they could do nothing. They always want the commission so they may not block the transaction too.

But i reported to them about this fraud site, and asked them to to block the merchant and save the money of innocent people who fall prey to this trap. I also blocked my credit card and asked them to issue new card as there is a possibility of auto renew the subscription after a particular period.

The site is completely fraud as there is not a single genuine offer or coupon for the subscribers. It is someone abroad created this site and enjoying with our money. This must be taken by the Govt or Media agencies and the banks must block such frauds immediately.

I think everyone should have gone through the ' TERMS and CONDITIONS' instead of just agreeing it and submit. Everything has been explained in Terms and conditions and we can prove anything only with that, If we are agreeing to the same without even reading that, then its a bigger mistake at ourside also. This is their so called business BUT our money is valuable. Beware next time.

Same case with me as well, but seems there is a way to get your money refunded.
The money is blocked with your bank, in case you unsubscribe within 72 hrs from registration, the money can be refunded.
I have done the same, and even bank agreed to file a bank complaint for money refund as it is still in 'Not cleared transaction'.

I received an email from savethedeals.in mentioning few deals like buy 6 movie tickets for rs50 only or 1700 Dinner Voucher valid at any restaurant. I was asked for credit card information, thinking that I will be charged rs50, I entered the information. To my surprise, I got an SMS that rs1730 has been debited from my credit card. I have written an email to this effect but like everyone has mentioned that they didn't receive any response so I think I will also not receive. Can you people do anything about it or Indian people will open Singapore registered companies and fool us like Speak Asia and now Savethedeals.in.

I would suggest all to block your card and request for a new card so that Standing Instruction can be cancelled with Savethedeals.in and then put a dispute with Bank/Card Issuers.

I would request Higher Authorities to look into this and get our money refunded as Savethedeals.in will not reply to us and people will keep paying like this.
