Sdmc — extensive illegal and unauthorized construction, extension/alteration, encroachment of mcd/dda land and illegal merging of the flats in vasant kunj

The owners of the two flats bearing numbers 8773 & 8774, c-8 vasant kunj, new delhi - 110070 through their mutual connivance have illegally removed the load bearing wall between the two adjacent flats on the first floor of their block, thereby posing a serious and imminent threat to the safety of their neighbors and the society as a whole. Through the illegal destruction of the load bearing wall between the two flats and violating the dda bylaws by distorting the original layout, the building appears to be very delicately poised and susceptible to collapse particularly in a high risk earthquake zone of delhi. Further, without any regard towards the interests of others and in utter violation of the unified building bye laws for delhi 2016, the duo have extensively encroached upon the mcd land all round their flats to illegally construct, alter and expand without any authorization their two flats thereby endangering the building further through compounded structural stress. An immediate and urgent action is required to be taken in order to restore the original layout of the two flats in question in order to prevent any mishap. It is further requested that an immediate action should be taken to seal the two flats and take suitable remedial measures and actions to effectively reverse the grave danger and the serious threat posed to the society as a result of the above.
