Segals Solutions Customer Care's response Dear SuryaChennai, The above comment is unfair and untrue. And your case also seems to one of the very few and rare exceptions that are reported to us. Let it be clarified threadbare - 1. It is NOT an alcohol based product. The Segals Advanced Hair Supplement cannot contain alcohol as it is in softgel form. The Shampoos, Conditioners and Scalp Serum do NOT contain alcohol. The Segals Hair Root Formula contains Menthol in a very low concentration but it is not the alcohol used in some pharmaceutical formulations. It's also not 'spirit'. The menthol used is extracted from corn and wheat and serves two purpose - i) it acts as a vasodilator which effect is essential for proper absorption of the ingredients, ii) certain ingredients won't dissolve in any other normal medium and so menthol is used as a carrier medium to carry certain vital ingredients to the hair follicle. Again, this is very mild and is not 'alcohol' in the colloquial sense, the way it has been presented or understood. 2. It is stated that you did indeed get results. Your dandruff got completely cured and Your hairloss stopped. This is no mean achievement if you had hairloss for a few years. It is no mean achievement that the sebum (DHT) deposit went off. Probably no other product is efficient enough to do so, atleast not in the Indian market. When you have a hormonal issue, expecting magical results is too much. It has to happen in a calibrated manner and the same did happen in your case. Natural products cannot be as fast as drugs, though results with natural products are consistent and free from side-effects. Coming to hair regrowth, it is a very subjective issue and the time span varies so widely from person to person that it is almost impossible to specify a time frame with the best of medical technology around the world. An estimate of the time-frame could be given based on feedback received from users and that has been given on the company's website. But again, Hairloss is always accompanied with lifestyle issues, age, immunity, metabolic issues, nutrition, stress levels, hormonal levels, genetic factors, environmental factors etc. etc, all of which are abstract. We could emphatically say that if results of this product range didn't rise to your expectation, nothing else ever will. No product ever for hair loss can guarantee a head full of hair unconditionally and under all circumstances. Constraints in every walk of life must be understood. You state that Minoxidil might have been added to Segals Solutions products. You may perhaps not be aware that the product is manufactured in GMP Certified manufacturing facilities in Canada. the product is regularly tested by the office of the Drug Controller of India at the point of import, each time. Minoxidil cannot be part of any softgel or shampoo or conditioner. Your apprehension is unfounded and baseless. Solving problems of the mindset and hugher than pragmatic expectations is always a challenge. 4. Your attempt to regrow hair with coconut oil is welcome as an attempt but let it be clarified that there is no research that proves so! Please don't be misled by tradition. Coconut oil may be harmless and probably good for a rejuvenating massage but by no stretch of imagination or no medical report states that can it make hair grow. If that was ever possible, there would have been a shortage of coconuts around the world. Nizoral is also not known and meant to regrow hair. It contains Ketoconazole, a harsh drug and helps only in controlling dandruff (seborrheac dermatitis) to some extent. It tends to comeback once Nizoral is stopped. Now, your dandruff got cured once for all with a natural product - Segals Solutions, then where is the scope for any grievance. Every product is unknown the first day; even Nizoral was. No product or brand was built and presented as a credible alternative to the existing product overnight. In any hairloss case, it is a test of patience, in some cases to extreme levels. Only those who have it, overcome it. It is also a question of being pragmatic and realistic. Nobody can aspire to have the same hair as they had in their teens. Aging is a process that has its toll and so all one should approach is to have healthy hair in the given age and circumstances. Using good products is a pre-requisite but not always sufficient.
