Shaadisaga.com And Wedding Folks And Saha Studio, Kolkata — fraudulently dealing, professional misconduct, unethical/unfair behavior from [wedding folks]

Complaint is about wedding folks - photographers (Saha studio) operated by very cunning, mischievous and highly unprofessional individual - mr. Surajit saha (Team - sudipta das (Manager), krishna yadav, pritam chakraborty, and nimay maity). They were hired to cover marriage event in indore, m. P. From 27th jan - 31 jan and cuttack, orrisa on 05th feb for a package cost of rs 89, 000.

Soon after the events, we asked them to share the edited photos (Part of package) and all the photos of events for selection (For album) and start working on cinematic video (Also part of package).

It took him more than 20 days to share few of the photos that too after repeated calls and messages, and were lower quality images and incomplete data (Not all event photos were shared).

He was asked to start working on video and share the edit copy for review and correction in parallel, he denied saying you first choose photos then we will tell you the process. It start from here.

We looked the photos and found quite many photos were missing, he was informed on 25th april 2020 and were asked to share them as soon as possible. He keep on ignoring it and saying i will give in sometime, there are covid issues, broadband issues and cannot share it etc etc.

Being lenient, we followed up after few weeks once in while, hoping there must be some genuine issues and he is not able to share but one fine day, i got a call from him asking for money, saying there are dues pending that need to be clear before that he cannot and will not share the photos.

Note : all the payments have already been made to him as and when demanded and nothing was due from our side. As per "shaadisaga.com" website (Where i find this vendor) 40% of the payment should have been made after the delivery (That was our mistake).

In addition to that, there were several attempt made to collect the data (While at the venue to avoid hassle of data sharing) as an when the work is completed and multiple opportunities were presented for handing over all the "captured photos and videos of the events" at indore and cuttack but it was never full filed on time and that have left us very disappointed even though the team might have done a decent job with the cameras.

1) opportunity 1 - handover of all photos/videos on the last day of event (31st jan 20) in indore.
- excuse-1 - we need to organize data from all our cameras (Total data size ~200 gb) and we will handover it to you in cuttack in a pen-drive.

2) opportunity 2 - handover all photos/videos on the day of event (05 feb 20) in cuttack.
- excuse-2 - total data size is still more than ~100 gb, it didn't fit in pen-drive and the provided portable hard disk is not compatible with our laptop. We will share it by email later.

After these false promises, we became suspicious about his intention and then we started to ask him to share original photos and videos now. Multiple email have been send to him, but neither any response were received nor the demanded data was shared.

Since then, he have been deliberately avoiding the situation, misbehaving and denying to provide the data and keep on telling that we have provided enough data and will not provide photo and video in original quality until you choose photos, we made the album and you pay balance amount for album in advance (Which was suppose to be paid only after delivery and not before that, as long as the work is satisfactory).

As a matter of fact, i need to first get all the original copy of photos and cinematic video before choosing photos for album and making any further payment. We do not trust his intention, even later also after getting the payment, there is no guarantee that he will not turn around and demands more money for something which was not agreed. He has done that in the past with us, and possibly can do again.

E. G. Mr. Surajit saha and his team denied covering 1 event in indore (Which was already agreed) and for few extra hours started creating scene and demanding more money.

And secondly, i want him to be penalized for "mental suffering" that impacted my work in terms of "compensation" or "ban on his studio services" or "imprisonment" for his fraudulent dealing, professional misconduct and unethical/unfair practices.

And lastly if he still doesn't agree to work as per our direction and satisfaction, we demands full refund along with penalty.
