Website: shine.com

The day since i registered at shine.com a week ago, i am getting continuously calls about guaranteed jobs at brand companies. They say comp. HR will take telephonic interview within few hours and PI followed by guaranteed job but to deposit 1600/1800/2000 in some bank a/c which i feel is totally fake!!!
They talk very professionally and in hindi only with fake accents for which i send my resume to a mail id which if misused i wont be responsible to any one.
Today some one ringed me and asked to deposit 1800 for job in 'sony'. I did not respond well for which after few minutes one woman ringed me in threatening tone([protected]) as if she is going to hang me if i wont pay to her.

This is my sincere request to shine.com to pay heed to my complain and take strong action asap as people are getting into great trouble in such situations believing shine.com only. So this shall be really solved immediately considering the emotional and financial loss faced by all the people who register here.
Here are list of nos from which i get calls often-

I opted their paid service in this job portal with a Rs. 4000, started with a superb offering on job references, highlighting profile and Interview calls. Result was so many other calls from Shine requesting for more payments for new methods and which they sound mandatory for our profile. Though i end up paying Rs.7000, decided not to take any further offers from this fraud company. The worst part is, though there wasnt not even a Rs.10 as benefits, i still suffer from a lot of spam calls across their associate sites and companies.

These people who work for this company would better steel from the buggers.

                Thanks,
                Mahesh

We have an account in icici bank on the name HT Media Ltd.

These days a lot of fake recruiters are calling the candidates using the name of reputed job portals and extract heavy money from them. We will like to clarify that the money paid by you is not to Shine.com and is not linked with any such recruiter or consultants. Please note that Shine.com is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims all liability for any such communication via email, sms or phone call by a frivolous source claiming to have got the contact details of the concerned person through or representing Shine.com. Therefore jobs seekers are advised not to indulge in any monetary engagement with such sources in the name of guaranteed interviews with employers. Also, please note that time to time, we advertise this on our own newspaper Hindustan Times. Hence, we strongly advise you to immediately file a chargeback with bank and file an FIR against the particular recruiter or the person from whom you have received a call.
if they are cheated student by using your name, why you have not taken any action to them.if I will file a charge back with them, how I will assure that I will get back my money. they are using your name. you should have to take action to them. but have not taken any action to them. Dear Prashant,

Thank you for bringing this to our notice.
Please note that Wipro does not entertain payment of any kind from candidates for employment.

We have noticed that resumes in employment websites and job portals often receive offers of ‘jobs’ at Wipro at times that require payment of cash deposit into specified bank accounts.

These are fake job offers because Wipro never seeks payment of money from candidates and no selection takes place without completion of the requisite interview processes.

Some common attributes of these fake job offer emails/sms are:

                                  • They come from public email IDs like Yahoo!, Rediff, Indiatimes.
                                  • They claim to come from ‘Wipro Group of Industries Limited’ or some such non-existent organization but claiming to carry the name of ‘Wipro’.
                                  • They call for cash deposit into a designated bank account (generally such accounts are opened with banks like ICIC Bank, Axis Bank, IDBI Bank).
                                  • In the event there was already a payment made, please lodge a complaint with the nearest police station so that necessary action can be taken against the imposters.
                                  • To make the offer seem authentic, the email will call for submission of ‘qualification documents’, ‘experience certificate’, photographs etc.
                                  • The emails will contain numerous apparent grammar and spelling errors.
                                  • Often, the contact address, phone numbers given in the email are non-existent and false.
                                  • We realize that you were alerted by one of the above pointers. And in case any of your friends or acquaintances, complain of receiving such mails, please alert them too, and discourage them into not paying/depositing money. They must simply ignore such mails as ‘SPAM’.

Importantly, please advise your friends and relatives not to fall prey to such fake job offers. Also note that all mails to candidates have a clear warning against payment of cash for securing jobs at Wipro.

                                  Regards,
                                  Wipro Support

Some days before i uploaded my resume (cv) on shine.com yesterday i got a call from shine.com ([protected] caller name DEEPIKA) and they told that my resume is going to be selected for the MNC Company WIPRO. And then they told me about the procedure which has 3 rounds 1st Telephonic Round 2nd HR and 3rd Personal Interview. They were also tod me that if i am getting selected for the interview round then i have to pay rs.2250 which is fee of reference id generation. Thats why i agree for the further process. and forwarded my document's copy through email on this email id [protected]@india.com but today in the morning at 10:27 i got another call from [protected] and they were tod me that they were from shine.com and calling me for the allotment of teephonic round time. and after that they were asked me for the payment 2250 and said that before this round i have to transfer that amount into his account and then my teephonic round will continue. I completely shocked that whats going on, before now they were told me that i have to pay before interview and now they were told me to transfer now i.e. before telephonic round. this is cheating. them i decided that i haven't agree for this because this is looking like cheating thats why i told them i am not more interested in their offer. but then they were defience me for BLACKLISTING MY DOCUMENTS COPY FOR 5 YEARS and also ATTEMPT THE COURT CASE regarding this issue if i am not agree for their offer of accepting the teephonic round and for paying 2250. And now also i got a call from MAHENDRA SING RANA whose number is ([protected]) and told me that he is an ADVOCATE nad my case no PN175/16... in court and he said that he comes within 1 hour for collecting my original documents I just want to know is there any problem occurs related my documents or as they were tod me about the court case and all...
                                    THANK YOU...

Shine.com call me for recruitment in HCL technology. they took my telephonic interview and next day they ask me for document verification and for PRM and demand Rs 5500. I paid them. And after that they forward me to some PRM person. After some call he also demand Rs 10500 for Joining security. It took me some time and some research to realize that it is a trap to consume money from us so I demand them to refund my money, that Rs 5500 they ask me for document verification + PRM. But now they are saying me that your money cannot be refunded because according to them they will spend that money to another student who ask for recruitment. When I told them that this is over money and we demand to refund it anyhow. But still they are playing there diplomatic cards.
Dear Mr Sarda, Greetings from Shine.com.
With reference to your comment, these days a lot of fake recruiters are calling the candidates using the name of reputed job portals and extract heavy money from them.
Also please note that time to time, we advertise this on our own newspaper Hindustan Times. Hence, we strongly advice you to immediately file a chargeback with bank and file an FIR against the particular recruiter or person from whom you have received a call.
