I have recently enrolled for the premium services of Shine yesterday evening. I paid an amount of Rs. 3, 292. I was given a confirmation by your executive Mr. Shivam with this payment, I will become a premium member for Shine and I will be given all necessary support by the team for a suitable job and salary package and that there are no further payments to be made. All necessary processes will be taken care of by the team.
I then received a call from the relationship manager Mr. Rohit who informed me that I have to make a further payment for Education & Job Verification. We had a long chat as I was told by the executive that no further payments were required. However, I decided to make the payment for the same. I paid Rs. 5192.
Once this was done Mr. Rohit, relationship manager sent me another invoice saying that i have to make a payment of additional Rs. 7197 for the job verification. He did not inform me that for education verification & for job verification I need to make two different payments. I was under the impression that one payment will take care of both the verification. We had a definite argument on this for 20 mins and then I was forced to make the payment of Rs. 7, 197 because I was already half way through the process. Post this he conveyed no further payments were required post this and the process will start immediately after i receive the login id & password.
Mr. Rohit then called me again after 15 mins to check on the login id & password and yet again he sent me another invoice of Rs. 12, 979 stating this needs to be paid for the presentation (this was not informed to me at all). I refused to pay anything any further as in this whole process there was no communication on any payments which were to be made post payment of Rs. 3, 292. Then Mr. Rohit said this is necessary without which he cannot help me. I asked to speak to his manager post his response.
Mr. Rohit then transferred the call to his manager Mr. Suraj Sharma who is the most incompetant of all. He dared to speak to me in a derogatory tone and said he can't do anything as the payment has been made and i can go ahead and use the services which I have paid for. He did not address my concern on the payment communication by the executive nor did he address the lack of communication on payment requirements by his team member Mr. Rohit. He was trying to give me all the sales talk and when I refused to listen to it he simply said he can't do anything about it and simply transferred the call back to Mr. Rohit. I have been in the corporate industry for 8 years but I have never met a more unprofessional man than MR. Suraj Sharm. It is disappointing to have interacted with him.
Mr. Rohit then assured me that I don't have to make a payment for the presentation and that he will guide me through this job requirement process.
This has been a very disappointing journey with shine in less than 24 hours. You have not communicated the process nor have you communicated the full payment structure. Now I have been forced to go through with it and I am stuck half way. I am out Rs. 16000 and I have no clarity nor support. The team is constantly asking me to make payments. This is not the right process to onboard a client nor the right attitude to portray to your client. The experience has been the most deprecating of all and I cannot condone this behavior.
I need a resolution from you at your earliest.

I am extremely disappointed with the behaviour and process you have. YOU ARE BLATANTLY CHEATING CUSTOMERS.
I have spoken to a friend who is a lawyer and he has advised me to take this to consumer court. I am prepared to do this unless you refund the full amount paid by me of Rs.15, 681 by 6 pm today.
The above was the mail complaint sent to shine.com. They are now harassing me. request your urgent help
