[Resolved] Shine.com — Shine Team Pathetic Response Only know to lure the candidates and extract money.
The incident happened 2 days back on 3rd May 2022. My husband received a call from Shine and offered to help him with job hunt. He paid the registration amount and soon a RM was appointed to explore his needs. I do not want to mention the name of this RM who is a pathetic guy and simply talks big things. He just kept insisting on paying amounts one after another without any transparency/details of the processes.
Soon my husband realised he is getting trapped and this RM guy is looting money for nothing. So he immediately asked to stop the conversation as these people only wanted to loot money and nothing will be provided. The RM and his senior started talking arrogantly and forced him to pay a heavy amount for the service without which job openings will not be shared.
This was too much. My husband wanted to stop the services that did not start and asked for the money back. Point to note: These services were not started. It was in the first call with RM that he wanted to withdraw the services. The RM and his senior were too rude and spoke loose statements that I do not want to share. They were not ready to share the email IDs of the person to whom we need to share our grievance.
After Internet research, my husband started communicating with the customer support team asking for refund as none of the services had been started then. The Shine team wanted plausible reason for giving refund. In short, they only know to loot and a candidate needs to bear the brunt. The RM being untraceable is not a plausible reason as he has been appointed to snatch money from the candidates by trapping them,
Our only say is when the services have not been initiated and we come to know the quality of Shine team at the start itself, can't we stop our relationship with them.
The Service Department Head talks about no cancellation or refund policy so the candidate should bear their pathetic behaviour in a service industry.
I warn all the citizens of India to stop approaching Shine who boast of being a part of Hindustan Times. I would say they are spoiling the name of HT.
The people hired in Shine team are useless without any required knowledge or skills. They know only to extract money from candidates.
When none of the services have been initiated, the payments have to be refunded. I will also be sharing our email communications soon.
