[Resolved] Shine.com — Fraud in the name of job placement | |||
Few days back I got a call frm careergurusolutions (ph no +[protected]stating that they are registered with shine.com and have received my profile thru shine. Subsequently, the next day one of their representatives called me and asked me to register by paying Rs. 3434. As soon as I went about with the registration payments, another guy called n said ADCO, Australia has liked ur profile and tey have asked me to go about with d credential verification services by paying 8500. The verymoment I could gauge tat this is a definite case of fraud. Till last nite, I ws continuously getting their calls regarding transfer of 8500 but when I sternly asked them for authentic documents n invoice of payment, tey send me an invoice in word format, a mere view of which suggests that it's fake. The website www.careergurusolutions.com doesn't have any specific address or registration no. Can shine.com further take up this matter. Regards Ashutosh Mukherjee Was this information helpful? | |||

Please note that Shine.com is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims all liability for any such communication via email, sms or phone call by a frivolous source claiming to have got the contact details of the concerned person through or representing Shine.com.
Therefore jobs seekers are advised not to indulge in any monetary engagement with such sources in the name of guaranteed interviews with employers.
Also please note that time to time, we advertise this on our own newspaper Hindustan Times.
Hence, we strongly advice you to immediately file a chargeback with bank and file an FIR against the particular recruiter or person from whom you have received a call.

i also got a call from careergurusolutions promising me a job in singapore from the same number [protected] asking me to register for the site and confirming job oppurtunities. I told them that i will register and cut the call. I think this company is fradulous. Anybody have more information about who their owner is and where in Noida are they located.

Is careergurusolutions a fraud? they went on calling me seeing my resume in shine.com and in phases asked me to pay about 20000inr refundable by hiring company. Surprisingly they are silent now. and money deposited from bank not in name of careergurusolutions.I should be refunded entire sum extracted or I have to proceed through CBI. Dr S K ROY

I also got a similar request from careergurusolutions, saying my cv from emirates bank abu dhabhi. A confirmed job offer with a non public placement! :)) for only 2500 rs payable immediately with the company executives assured assistance and guidance over the phone.

I received a call from [protected] the same CareerGuruSolutions promising a good job in abroad/Singapore and already a company like my profile and asked me to registration fees around Rs.3500/- and when I asked the caller to send me an email with all the details from their company email address and I will think about it but she tried to convince me that she won't be able send the details by email until I register first, and also said we are not consultancy or not taking any data from any job portal and said you need to register first. I told her these days there calls making false commitments and asking a deposit as registration amount to proceed for the same but she replied I understand your concern but you check our CareerGuruSolutions.com website and she will call after 1 hour. The executive I spoke to, sounded like a insurance company agent making false commitments to sale their policy and this indeed looks like a scam. I also would like to mention here that today I updated my shine.com portal profile and received this call, I think this is somewhere connected to shine.com (eg. some fraud company/recruiter registered with shine.com with false identity to get job seeker's details, not sure). I hope this is taken care before anybody else in real desperate need falls for them. Yes I agree on "From the looks of it, I think it has started recently".
