Hi,
I would like to complaint against the shopping channel Star CJ Alive. I ordered a jewelry collection named "Sia Collection" from Star CJ Alive. The product delivered to me is defective. When I complained against the defect they promised to take it back & return my money. Since then I have been trying to contact Star CJ Alive customer care but nobody came to collect the parcel & return my money back. It's been more then 2 months now, when I placed the request for returning the money for the first time. Every time I call the customer care, they say that we are forwarding your request on urgent basis, but situation remains same.

    Sir/Madam:

    I booked and purchased a laptop(notebook ) through www.starcj.com. Order number is [protected] , dated 12th March 2012, full payment of Rs.13999 was made through my credit card.

    Later on i was informed that due to unavailability of the stock, order was cancelled and within 7 working days I will receive the amount.

    Even after rigorous follow up and a month is about to get over, yet the payment is not credited in to my account.

    At the time of placement of the order, stock was available and now the cost of the same product after the budget has been increased.

    Who will bear the difference of amount?

      I ordered a Anksh Launch Bachat Pack of 2 Kurtas from Star CJ site. I got that
      product on 6th March 2012 in Bad Condition. My Product is defective. Same day i
      called customer care and asked for refund they told me that the product needs to be
      collected before paying back. They told me that they will collect product from my
      house in 5 working days then i will get money back in 7 working days.Still my goods
      are not collected. I think from last 25day everyday i m calling them.I spend a lot
      of money on calls.even I Spoke to their manager and he promised me to get this
      resolved tomorrow.Still today products are not collected from my house.

        placed online shopping request through HDFC Credit Card on 26/11/2011 for Rs. 1749 for purchase of Happy calling double sided pan Order No. [protected]. The product was to be delivered in 10 days but not delivered through AFL Courier who in turn issued to ST Courier to deliver same. ST courier later reported the product loss.
        No complaint No. given since they say order No. is compliant No.However registered complaint No.[protected] .Finally failed to deliver the item as well as the amount as on date.Telephonic contacts done more than 25 times but did not yeild/responded. Telephonic talks on 30/11,8/12,9/12,10/12,11/12,12/12,13/12,14/12 and 16/12 stating that Order No. itself as complaint no. to avoid legal consequences.Inspite of tracing the main defect that third party thieft by ST Courier.

        Hi,
        I had placed a order for Morphy Richards Microwave oven. I recived a parcel and when I opened the parcel only free gifts were there and original product was not delivered. I am calling the customer care repeatedly and everytime I get the same reply that someone will call me back. Till date noone has bothered to call me back. I feel like cheated and lost my 9000 Rs. Please help me with this.

        I HAVE ORDERED AN INALSA FOOD PROCESSOR IN 17 DEC 2011 AND PAID THE AMOUNT OF Rs 4595.00 WIDE ORDER NO-[protected] AND AS PER STAR CJ PRODUCT WOULD BE DELIVERED WITH IN 7-10 WORKING DAYS BUT AFTER LOTS OF COMPLAINTS THEY ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE SOLLUTION AND DON'T EVEN CALL ME ONCE TO PROVIDE THE RESOLUTION OR ANY OTHER QUERY.EVERY TIME THEIR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE FORWARD THE COMPLAINT TO HIS SENIORS TO SORTOUT THIS PROBLEM,BUT NOTHING HAPPEN.nOW I'VE CANCELLED MY ORDER BUT THEY ARE NOT GIVING THE EXACT TIME TO REFUND MY MONEY.

        HIS SERVICE IS WORST EVER I'VE SEEN.

          Hi Admin,

          I have recently purchased Bajaj Food Processor FX 11 Food Factory from Starcj website (Order No:[protected] where they are providing discount on some of the appliances. After one day now they are calling me and said that your order is cancelled due to some wrong amount and we are refunding your money back to your account within 7 to 10 days.

          I said why you are cancelling my order If it is not our mistake and you have to dispatch the order. If the amount is wrongly set then why you revert today instead of after minute or hours after confirmation of my order. But they no words in the mouth. I again requested that I need my order to be dispatch as I already committed to my MOM that I have buy something for her.

          Please suggest how can i get this order.

            I ordered Softel Snack Maker online from www.starcj.com .Received tampered product on 11 feb 2012 with some parts missing, i launched a complaint which was approved on 16 Febuary and was told that the product will be replaced with 10-15 days. I recived a call on 28 Feb that it will take another 10-12 Days for the product to be shipped , but today is 20th march and the product has still not been replaced. I had made numerous calls to the company but i have not been provided with any escalation channel .

              Dear all E-commerce user
              Beware of STAR CJ and MNM Trading Solution Pvt. Ltd. who were jointly cheating public.

              This in reference to my order no [protected] dated Jan 15 2012 for Whirlpool Magicook MWO 25L (along with assured 6 free gifts namely 8pc super chef starter kit, Dosa Tava, Hand Blander, Coffee maker cordless, Ladies handbag, Recipe Book as telecasted on Star CJ TV dated Jan 15 2012) which was delivered to me on Jan 22 2011 with damaged micro-woven and incomplete free gifts at my address 17 Janta Colony, Near Ramnagar Pullia, Shahganj, Agra - 282010, U.P.

              On my report about the same you promised to replace the entire lot with full free gifts which you have sent and delivered the replacement on Jan 28 2012 returning all item to your delivery man, but again with only with 1 free gifts which was 8pc super chef starter kit. One the very same moment I called up to your customer care and in turn they assured to deliver my remaining 5 free gifts item within seven days.

              But till now I fail to understand the definition of seven days when will it come though it's almost a month is going to over. Since then I had made "N" numbers of call to your customer care from my mobile no [protected] but still sitting on zero result.

              I was under impression that I am dealing with a reputed brand name Star CJ but now I think I was wrong and it was not at all a right decision to be associated with you.

              I had placed trust in your company and had ordered the Whirlpool MW25BG. However, I am sorely disappointed at the appalling level of service that has been meted out to me. As a consequence of your deficient service and the failure on your part to deliver the assured free gifts product, undue hardship and mental frustration have been suffered by me.
              In case you fail to take action within 7 days from the date of this letter, I would be forced to:
              1)- Ask my lawyers to file a consumer complaint against you for gross negligence, and deficient service, as well as additional compensation for mental agony and legal costs;
              2)- Ask my lawyers to consider the filing of a civil suit against your organisation;
              3)- Start a sustained Twitter campaign spreading the word about the appalling level of service that I have received from you; and
              4)-Issue press releases online on several social networking site and in the print media.
              I hope that I do not have to take these steps and look forward to an amicable resolution of this issue.

                Hello,

                I had ordered for a Maharaja Whiteline JMG as advertised on television (order no. [protected]) for rs 2495/-. cash on delivery. They also have a toll free no. as advertised which does not work at all. I have had to call them on other no. and place the order. They assured delivery in 5 working days as per their policies and me being in real rush mentioned i need it within 5 days latest else I donot want to place the order. Their representative told me not to worry as you will get it latest in 5 wrking days.
                I did not hear from them for the next 5 days and when I called them on the 6th day, they wrapped up a story stating we were trying to reach you and you were not reachable. Later they said their customer complain dept will take this on and call me asap. I had been calling all the while for this and wasting 10-15 minutes every call with my money as well.
                Their customer care lady Shalu called up and told me that she will look into this as she is not aware of the current status of this order and will give me a call by end of the day. This lady never called back and when I followed again as usual with the call told me that madam your order is cancelled. I have suffered alot at these guys. They should not advertise what they cannot fulfill and waste our time and efforts. They donot have the courtesy to even call abck and inform.
                I have asked for compensation from their end for wasting my time and money behind them. They said they will followup with a call which they havent till now.

                I WOULD SUGGEST A BIG NO NO TO COMPANIES LIKE STAR CJ WHO ARE GOOD FOR NOTHING AND THEIR EXECUTIVES AND STAFF ARE NOT AWARE OF ANYTHING.

                I have wasted my time, money and also could not gift my friend on his wedding. Caused me alot.

                  I have placed an order to Star CJ Alive on 2/3/3012 Sia Gulal Collection( order no is [protected]), i had received my order with in 3 working days dated 5th march 2012 when i received the courier and opend it the product is defective and the same day i had complaint to star cj customer care the i have received my order but it is defective so pls. cancel my order and give me my refund. then after waiting for 10 days till date todey no one is responding on my compaintI have canceled the order, after calling them so many time to recollect the ndefective product and process my refund on time; but I have never received any response from them they were just telling me that concern department will call me but no on has called me till today. When I have canceled the order they told me to give refund within 7 days but its 8 days already but they have not proceed any further on my refund. When I called today asking my refund they were just passing call to one-another and not giving me any specific reply.

                      I Had Purchased 75 Pieces Cutting Edge Dinner set from Star CJ. I was delivered Half products only. I gave my complain and after so many followups I got another parcel after 10 days and again the same products were missing. I dint accept the parcel after checking.......Now I have registered missing products complain asked them to refund my money back. I dont think I will get the refund after reading so many complains of STAR CJ in this forum....
                      STARCJ IS A FRAUD AND CHEATER COMPANY.......

                        Startcj has turned up most disappointing experience of online shopping.
                        To be surprise there so called customer care is also dumb and .
                        I place an order online on 12th feb2012 order no. [protected].
                        After multiple follow up I came to know they have no more stock left of that product.
                        And non of the Shameless came up and updated me about it. Instead I got the sms that your order is dispatched!
                        Whenever I call their customer care, every time they came up with different story, like ..We do not have record….you cancelled the order.. You exchanged order etc.. Now since last few follow ups they keep on putting me on hold and then after some time disconnect my call!!!
                        It seams they are not interested in returning my money. I am surely gonna sue them.

                        Please keep away from such unethical company!

                          I had purchased a product from StarCj Product Code [protected]. The product when delivered had some parts missing (Shredder Blade).

                          The compalint was raised on 2nd February and till date nothing has been done. I have been trying to reach the StarCj People and everytime I hear is that they raise new complaints against previous one. Everytime they give a time period that wait for 48 hrs or 72 hrs but no followup call is made from them.

                          This is ridiculous on part of StarCj if they are running an online business and ave such pathetic control over their vendors.

                            I have ordered a product by star cj in last week of dec'11 and they have committed for a free gift with it. Free gift was not received with the product and after some days when it came in 2nd week of Jan'12, i was out of city so cudnt receive it.
                            Since then i have been following up with them (atleast 3-4 times, they have taken my complaint but i have not received it till 5th mar'12.

                              I purchased a microwave owen from starcj.com on 15 Feb 12 and was promised to be deivered within 7-10 days. but the product was not delivered to me todate. on 29 feb 12 I called up their customer service to enquire about my product and was told that my product will be delivered on 29 feb by 6 pm but it was not delivered. so again on 01 March 12 I called up customer service to cancel my order but I was promised by the customer service executive that my product will be delivered to me by 6pm on 01 March. but it was not deivered on 01 march also. So again on 2nd March 12 I called up the customer service to enquire and to my horror I came to know that my order was cancelled despite of instructions of not to do so. I was told that my money will be refunded to me again in 7-10 days.
                              so I request you to resolve this issue and also to ensure that I will get adequate compensation for having such a difficult time at the hands of starcj .

[protected], date = 25/02/2012, . this product does not work so i call star cj alive on that day but they said call customer care but they don't give me response i call daily about 2 months he don't solve my problem you gave the one year warranty that you said but you don't give me the warranty of one day my product is not working this is packed . when i talk to you then get the hold phone for 30 minutes or more. your company is very cheap it don't give me response i hope that you give me the solution of my problem .contact no. [protected]/34 and you don't thought that my warranty is completed on 25/02/2013 its not my warranty is started when my product is replaced me and you have two choices, first one is replace the order or refund my money that's your choice.when i take action against you its a warning for you . call me or give me response immediately . he said he call back but even they don't call . and not give me any response

                                I have ordered one "Sports Bag" from STAR CJ website on 18/Feb/12 with order number "[protected]" for Rs.29 with using one promo code under some promotional offer received from internet and paid the same amount using my credit card, but they have automatically cancelled this order without any information and my consent, and on 23/Feb/12 I randomly checked my account in website to see shipping status of my order and came to know that it was automatically cancelled by the company without any refund and information.

                                I immediately called their customer care number[protected] to ask who have ever requested for cancellation of this order, but unfortunately they didn't had any answer, and they keep me on hold for more than 20 mins while transferring my call to senior deptt on my 1st call but still not connected so I had to disconnect because I was calling from my reliance mobile and that was not a toll free call, and once again on hold for around 30 mins on my 2nd call so I have disconnected once again ending up wasting around Rs.40-50 for nothing...

                                I just wanted to ask them the reason why the order was cancelled when they have already accepted my payment, please don't give any excuses like out of stock or poor quality. And on top of that there was no such information and pathetic customer care services and till date I havn't received my refund as well.

                                I request Consumer Complaint to follow up on this with the concerned company.

                                    my name is piyush sharma . I had ordered samsung ultra slim fit 29 “ tv on 30/Jan/2012 with order no[protected] I paid rs.- 6999 by credit card. From 04/Feb/2012 to 15/Feb/2012, I DID call starcj many times and got reply every times "you will get your product within next 2to 3 working days". Then after 10 days again I call to customer care then the told me please wait for two days we will resolve this issue after two days again I call to customer care then the y transfer call to senior executive , his name is prasant singh he promise me you received tv on 20/Feb/2012,but on 23/Feb/2012 they delivered 21” tv and also its physically damage , the I again call the they told me wait for 2-3 three days for regulations , the after two days the told me that tv not available in stock so the collect faulty tv and refund my money back but still no one come for collecting tv and still money not refund.
                                    and no posetive response from star cj cc Executive.

                                      i ordered a product from star cj alive on Feb 05, 2012, i made a mistake by doing the payment online, despite of a number of complaints i have not received the product yet...i even made a complaint at the Aremax courier service, stating my docket number and non delovery of the product..... but none paid any attention....

                                        i'm Piyush Saxena have purchased a product "Bhalaria 60pc dinner set" from Star cj alive (web: www.starcj.com) with online process on dt. 30/11/11 along with that product they show on tv two free gift, one of them is hand blander which was defective when i found product delivery, against that i raised a complaint and they promise me to replace it 7 to 10 working days but i haven't got any replacement till now while i remind him many times my latest complaint number is "[protected]".So this is requested to you please followup it for me.
                                        One more complaint from star cj alive that i have purchase "Bajaj food processor fx11 food factory" on dt. 30/11/11, today on 02/02/12 i arranged a demo from bajaj customer care than i have come to know that a part of that product is also defective (centrifugal juser) i have doubt to originality of that product because of the defect is not minor its major and can't to believe that brand like bajaj makes such type of defects. i have complaint it today 02/02/12 to replace it, that complaint no. is "[protected]" but i have doubt it also takes a longer time to solve or not to be solve (like previous above complaint).
                                        so i have needed your help please help me and followup the same.
