Shriram City — Insurance detail and Loan application form details suppressed

Address:Chinnamanur, Theni district - 625515

My uncle name "Madhu R" (also Mathu R as per Aadhaar) with mobile [protected] got a two wheeler loan on 30th November 2020 and with aadhar[protected] and PAN ANBPM8172H. Location is Chinnamanur (pincode 625515) in Theni district, TamilNadu.
He paid two installments for Jan and Feb 2021. On Feb 26th he died unexpectedly.
The loan application includes loan insurance amount of Rs.4900 (total loan amount is 74900 only) and vehicle insurance detail of Rs. 5765.
As the loan borrower died, the loan insurance is supposed to cover the loan and Shriram City Union Finance is supposed to return the RC book details (original) and inform the family disclosing the insurance details and amount.
On the contrary, the managers of Shriram City in Chinnamanur and their manager in Theni district are jointly lying and harassing (frequently calling the family and visiting the house) to recover the EMI due (of Rs.4115 which is just one month pending now).
They are refusing to give scan or xerox copy of the loan application form and say the loan doesn't includes loan insurance. They refuse to give the details saying they don't have loan application details and it is with head office and can't be retrieved now and I can try to get it from customer care (and also said customer care won't help on this and never helped them also earlier for similar requests). They only say about EMI and ask to pay them in cash.
I (my Name is Sakthivel G - [protected]/[protected]) am with my uncle's family supporting them as his wife (my sister) is house wife without proper income. I tried calling customer care of Shriram city (and pretending to be my uncle using his mobile number) tried to get the insurance details (as I was told by some friends that if we disclose death news of borrower, the finance institutions will lie and won't give details) and revealed the truth only at end of conversation with customer care. Still, after waiting and talking for 2 hours, the customer care refused to give the details and still asked to check with the branch (which is pointing to Customer care to get details).
Kindly check the attached details and check the General insurance amount from Chola MS (Rs. 5765) and the insurance amount of Rs 4900 under loan section (mentioned in the Sriram Application shown by their managers during my enquiry) and give justice.
They also told me that my uncle refused to add loan insurance which is around Rs.300 only by saying it is not needed.
Please check and verify needed details and help us.
Shriram finance people are coming every day to home to collect the pending EMI which is currently only one month due and is refusing to give needed details and is not allowing us enough time to gather or verify the details. I even told them you can put fine for late payment but we want to verify whether the details are correct before paying and wanted to confirm the loan insurance is there in loan (but they are trying to persuade us that there are no loan insurance in that). We are getting warning from relatives (who are in loan insurance only) that these Shriram Finance people in our village (Chinnamanur, Theni district) are bad guys and will steal or snatch the vehicles if parked outside and threaten/attack us as required.

Shrirmam city home branch person again visited our house yesterday[protected] to get EMI. I told them I have contacted customer care to get loan details (as pointed by them) and have to wait for a week.
Called customer care again today[protected] from my number and enquired. The first representative provided basic details (also confirmed loan insurance) and transferred call to insurance section. The insurance section person told the same old story that the insurance details won't be disclosed by them (both loan insurance and vehicle insurance) and told to contact home branch.
I explained the situation again stating the earlier raised complaint and what is happening. But still they told they will provide a resolution within 7 workings days (as today is 2nd working day) and I will get solution by 6th of April (Tuesday). I told them it is a matter of reputation of Shriram City as the home branch persons (of Chinnamanur) refuse to disclose the loan insurance details (which will cover up the loan balance on death of the borrower) and are trying to get EMI amount by cash. We already have all the details on hand and is asking Customer care to resolve it by making the home branch persons to disclose the details, (close loan using loan insurance or it is already closed because home branch persons provided loan statement with striked line horizontally) and hand over the vehicle documents to the family decently.

Sent an email to [protected]@shriramcity.com providing needed details in zip file about loan (with images of loan details taken from shriram city application that shows insurance amount of Rs. 4900 under loan section) and the vehicle insurance xerox soft copies. Described the whole thing in email and requested the customer care to confirm the details via email and do the needful.
I didn't get any response from customer care via email till now but I got a call from a person called Arun head of Trichy Shriram office and told that customer care has contacted them and he has instructed the home branch of loan (Chinnamanur) people to handle softly, get in touch with family to resolve the issue smoothly. The home branch manager (Hari) informed me that the insurance amount is around Rs.200 and on further questioning told me that it would cover around Rs. 50000 for loan and provided the list of documents needed for it. Hari also told that they are unaware of the insurance details (which is weird because he and Theni branch head - Ezhilil told me that loan insurance was NOT availed earlier very clearly when I asked specifically).
Now after complaining to customer care they ask us to provide the documents (like aadhaar, death certificate of the borrower - my uncle) for claiming loan insurance through Shriram City itself. The documents required also involves cancelled check leaflet and passbook xerox copy to refund extra amount(than pending loan) to the nominee (in this case my sister - wife of the borrower).
I have asked him to provide the loan insurance claim form from branch (which is not given to us yet) so that we will fill them up and give it back along with the needed documents (so we will be aware of what we are submitting).
Due to ongoing election work, banks and municipalities are very busy and needed officers busy and hence it will take some more time to get the death certificate and process this.
Will update soon on this as we progress.

On[protected], when Shriram Union guys (Hari - Chinnamanur office head) came to home, Arun (Trichy office head) told me clearly there is no need to pay EMI as there is insurance claim (which will cover entire amount and extra amount will be credited to claimant bank account) and told me to get two letters - one to cancel ECS of EMI amount and another for asking "Shriram City Union, Chinnamanur" to wait till insurance claim is settled. We gave both of these letters already on[protected].
We got the death certificate of my uncle later and on[protected]Tue), submitted KYC of my uncle, death certificate and KYC of my sister (claimant, uncle's wife) along with request letter (given by Shriram City Union Finance), cancelled cheque leaf and bank passbook xerox copy of claimant for claiming insurance. As per the printed letter given by "Shriram City Union Finance" the two wheeler loan is protected by "Flat Cover/Credit Shield" insurance.
On[protected]Wed), Shriram City Union Finance guys again came for collection of EMI and told that if not paid, they were instructed to seize the vehicle.
Again talked with Trichy office head (Arun) who was told by Ezhilil (Cumbum office head) that there are 3 months EMI (but it is only 2 months for March and April and that too due to uncle's death and these guys denial of insurance in loan). He confirms that the insurance claim papers are now moved to processing but now he requested to pay a month EMI if needed because of pressure of collection to these people who convinces Arun now. Now, the talk comes like "as the insurance claim is submitted only on[protected]", the insurance claim will take calculation of EMI cover based on that date (not based on borrower's date[protected]. This is wrong as these people are the whole reason for this delay.
They refuse to mention the loan insurance amount explicitly in the request letter. But as per "Flat cover/Credit shield" insurance description it will cover entire loan amount and the already paid EMIs of borrower will be given back to the claimant. Ezhilil confirmed the same over phone but still asks us to pay EMI. Arun earlier confirmed the same on loan claim and told there is no need to pay EMI but now requests to pay just one EMI for the sake of the guys coming for recovering dues (Hari - Chinnamanur head).
I am telling them that they can't ask for EMI on the context of insurance claim under process. What if they keep doing the same for several months. This seems to start over again !!!

Till today, no reply from Shriram City on insurance claim. Only reply got was branch opened after long time and they will get back on this. But still the monthly EMI amount is attempted against my demised uncle's savings account every month and sms keeps coming to his mobile number for every month (we already given letter to stop the EMI as per their head branch manager told and also initiated credit shield insurance claim process several months back).
