INTRODUCTION:
My name is Sanjeev Kumar, I have paid 8000/- for Matrimonial Service from Shubh Matrimonial. They had promised lot of service and commitment. After the payment everything vanishes. I stay in Bangalore and this complains is regarding their service which they have stopped and denying refunding my amount.

SHUBH MARRIAGE BUREAU provide matrimonial service online and through phone they run their service from Shop No. 14, Top floor, T. Market, Near o[censored]ttam Cinema, Hall Power house, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.

RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:
1. They promised me to search life partner till I get it. They told me that they will be sharing my profile with many people and first they will contact them. They will be taking care of communication process and my intervention was very less. They also promised to arrange meeting with many people. They will be taking care of end to end service. If my profile is not selected then they will also publish it in the local news paper. They had promised me that I will not need to bother about this and they will good service and proper communication.

2. The best part I likes was that my intervention was very less as I am working in IT company and get very less time for these activity. Money was not the concern but it was the word and promising side from them that disappointed me very much.

TRANSACTION :
They charged me 8000/- for matrimonial service.

NATURE OF COMPLAINT:
1. Cheating by giving false promises.
2. Harassment by the opposite party.
3. Not delivering services for which payment is made.
4. Decline for refund .

JURISDICTION:
As the total amount involved is less than Rupees 20 lakhs, the complaint is being filed with the Hon'ble District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum.

The complainant therefore prays :-
i) relief be granted to the complainant as demanded herein.
ii) that such orders be passed as the Hon'ble Consumer Forum may deem fit in the circumstances of the case.
iii) Cancellation of their license and refund of my money.

They are big cheater and putting any hope will be big mistake ... Now they are updating all complain with the messgae at same time to increase their customer base...

Everyone knows that matrimonial sites are usually meant fr arranged marriage and we had the same picture in mind when we opened our profiles with shubhmatrimony.in. It all started when she accepted my expression of interest. A formal phone call, followed by a casual meeting. We had decided to meet first and know each other face to face before including the parents and family in the process. From this meeting the whole story got changed.. and we eventually realized that it was no more an arranged marriage- rather an arranged love marriage! We started dating and got legally married on September 19th. The social marriage celebration and rituals will be on January next year, but since we have done the registry, we are a happily married couple now. Thank you shubhmatrimony.in for playing such pivotal role in our lives. My advise for those who are searching their soul mate here is: just be yourself and do not furnish fabricated information.

Nice cooked up stories ... Do not believe it they can go to this extend ... This profile has only one comment and its was on same day when this Jhinnu has joined the portal. I guess only for commenting on my post they have created it ... These people only like to fraud people and take their money.

My advice will be to avoid these people

Above complain and email screen shot does means from the authentic people and if they can do it to one customer then can do it for you too ... If a part of corruption that we have to take out from out society without removing we can not progress...

I am agree with Sanjeev. This case has happened with me too. I have paid 5600/- to shubhmatrimony.in in month of April 2014 to their HDFC bank account.

These people called me and gave very attractive offers and I was little suspicious that in that much less price how they will deliver all things. But how could I know that they will not provide any service and will vanish after the payment. I tried reaching them multiple time but every time they were sending false or copied profile form jeevansaathi.com. Initially they will tell that other party have seen you pic and they are ready to communicate it. Once I will call other party they will say we have seen your profile first time and not sure who has given this false information.,

I was help less and was looking for place to complain about them anonymously.

Do not trust them and pay money to them

I agree with Sanjeev Kumar & Aadil Ahmad, Shubh Matrimony is cheater & fraud, they are just a thug. They just take money from the poeple & then avoid them, with out providing any assistance or services. When we ask for money they get aggressive & ask to discontinue for the services. which they haven't provided.

They just play with peoples emotions & sentiments by showing flowery pictures of marriage & as soon as they get money, they just vanish.

Guys please be aware of Shubh Matrimony & don't get into their sweet talks.

Its name should be fraud matrimony and not Shubh matrimony. Only cheaters are operating this matrimony site.they are having some copied profile which they are sending to their clients and when they are trapped, they start cheating by bargaining emotionally.

Shubh matrimony should be banned immediately before they cheat others.

If Shubh Matrimony are really good people then they will return the money taken from customers. Else may be they are incapable to get job at their own.So, cheating others they made their business by dragging others hard earned money by making false promises.

I'm from Pune, India. I kept getting phone calls from a female called "Shraddha Singh", phone number [protected] for registration. I got an initial mail where she sent me a list of proposals and asked me to select and send her. She'll start the work as soon as she receives the money. I paid Rs.5000/- as registration money and never heard from here again. In fact i called her many times but she did not reply. This was a life time membership as she told me but the receipt i got from her was valid only for a year. I emailed her back but there was no response. I really don't know what to do so i'm writing here. Please find the receipt attached. The details of their where abouts can be found on the receipt

I've emailed them now and i instantly got a call from her. It seems her phone number had changed. She has told me that she'll send me few proposals tomorrow. I'll keep you guys posted with the developments. We can then decide if the Beuro is for real or a fraud.

Shubh matrimony is not a reliable for matrimonial service. They tell a lot of promises which they can not keep it. They are fraud people.

I was getting a lots of call with good profile from them. They insisted me to pay the amount as with out the amount they can not take this forward. Once I paid 8500/- for their service, every thing got changed. They stopped calling me and all the previous profile they showed be were not right. They have downloaded those profiles from shaadi.com etc and shard it with me.

I suggest all people should not encourage these services from http://www.shubhmatrimony.in. Its just like throwing your own money. They do not give any receipt and only BANK are having these transaction.
