I am not able to get the caller Id displayed on my Gigaset A495 phone. I have been trying to contact Customer care but have not been able to get any response. It is very surprising to me to have no response from a reputed complany like Siemens and I feel I have made a huge mistake by going with the brand name of Siemens. I have purchased 2 phones for 2 rooms and not able to get the caller id in either.
Also - there is no contact No provided for India in the list of contacts, which adds to the frustration. Can I get any help? Please call me on [protected].

The same problem i am getting with my siemens A490 cordless phone. I am not able to see any caller line identification on my phone even if i registered fo that facility from the MTNL. MOst frustrating thing is siemens don't have any customer care center or number in india. I purchase this phone from dubai. Where do i go, whom do i contact for this problem. I bought a Gigaset A 495 cordless phone from M/S Vijay Sales at goregaon east on 29th Jan 2012 . My problem started when I reached home and set p the phone . I found many features are not working as told by the salesman and also given in the manual . This includes edit/ call back facility . I feel totally cheated because I paid money for these features . i receive exacly the same e-mail whith the winning code.it is a fake i think.collect the money and they gone.

I agree I did not give them my passport or drivers licence that they requested when I refused to pay money. I did give them a bank account # where they could send the money but they closeed the file I really believe they where going to steal my identity. I know I am going to try to havr them investigated for everthing from fraud to terrorism any help would be greatly appericated

This is a complete hoax - when I phoned the number a person barely able to speak English answered the phone "allo". If it was a bona fide law firm the name would have been announced to a caller. Siemens Electronics is a well known and respected name and they should be doing something to stop this scam as it can reflect badly on their reputation. I have asked a Detective Inspector of the Surrey County Police whom I know, to look into this for me.

The computer from where they send emails is located in the United States, in the city called Laurel.
It is not true they probably want to steal your identity, money and even worse to pay you a visit so DO NOT reply their emails. Mark the email as SPAM in order to help Yahoo, Google, Microsoft and others to block their hacking email.

Please know that in order to win a prize you have to subscribe to it and then they will call you and never ask you for money. Do not thrust these kind of email and just mark them as spam and ignore them.

These people waisted my time by promising me that my e-mail address have won money in a draw. I phoned them and they promised me everything is legit. However they asked me to e-mail my passport
details to them (which I didn't) and pay the company FedEx/UPS/DHL mailing and insurance - which I also did not do. When I e-mailed them that FedEx works on a COD system they told me that 'you are to note that doubting the legetimacy of this office may make you end up loosing you prize...'. (Their spelling is horrible.)
