I purchased a SIEMENS Washing machine from a authorised dealer in Rajkot City ( Gujarat - India). The machine was installed on 30/11/2016 after all necessary fulfilment were completed as per the technician . The machine was under warranty when we registered a complaint (dated 27/11/2018) of severe rusting on front gate. The engineer and technician visited and inspected the machine, took photographs and bill copy . on 3/12/18 the call from service centre was received that rusting of the machine will not be covered under warranty and as special case, a discount can be offered of 30%. I request through this forum to the company that, washing machines are meant to work with water and in water everyday. The common man prefers and spends hefty amounts on certain brands of electronics to have good service and peace of mind.
