I gave my car to Nawab Motors Workshop, Noida on 29-Jan for accidental repair.
I clearly wrote in insurance claim form and also told bodyshop advisor that tyre was also damaged and need to be replaced with brand new of same brand and specification.
They told car is ready and I'll get the car on 9-Feb after insurance clearance. I was told that there is a delay in submitting invoice to insurance company but could not explain why. I went to workshop on 11-Feb to get the car.
They told they have not received insurance clearance. I waited in Service Manager's cabin for hours. Finally email from insurance company arrived but the breakup did not include tyre. When I asked them they replied because it was in the invoice. Then I asked workshop why the tyre was not included. They blamed me that I did not disclosed it earlier !!! Shock of life !!! I showed the copy of insurance claim form to them to proved that I mentioned tyre damage. Then workshop service manager became defensive. He said we'll order the tyre and revise your invoice to insurance.
After 4 days I went to workshop, got new tyre and paid full amount of tyre and asked them to revised the invoice and inform me whenever insurance clearance is received I'll come and collect the refund whatever is covered in insurance.
Now, after 3 weeks, I'm frustrated to keep calling them, every time they say we'll chase insurance company but then forgot everything. What a pathetic example of customer service!
