[Resolved]  Skoda — Nawab Motors Skoda denying warranty services and harassing customers

I have been using my skoda rapid for almost 1 and a half years and it has proved to be a painful journey for me. On 3rd of august while i was driving to my office my car broke down at a traffic signal. My car (rapid diesel automatic) was in parking mode while waiting at a traffic light and when the light turned green i tried to switch it to drive mode but my gearbox stopped responding. after trying for 5 - 10 mins i contacted the skoda road side assistance for help. My car was later towed to nawab motors in noida around 3pm. I contacted nawab motors and like always they did not attend to my car on a urgent basis and they told me that they will tell me the problem by next day afternoon (4th august). After no response till afternoon i contacted them to ask regarding my car problem, they told me that was some kind of liquid damage in the gearbox. Then they said i have to wait till monday to know whether the situation will be covered under the warranty or not.

The gearbox is supposed to be a sealed unit then how come it has been damaged by liquid. Before buying this skoda car i received many negative opinions from people and forums regarding after sales services of skoda but as i was assured by the sales peoples at skoda that i will not be facing any kind of problem as far as after sales services are concerned. I remember i asked repeatedly that whether this dsg gearbox would prove to be a reliable gearbox or not and the sales person assured me that this gearbox is the best in the automatic car range and will not give any kind of problems in the future and even if it does it will be covered by skoda warranty. Its only been one and a half years and my gearbox is already giving me problems. i will not pay anything out of my pocket for a thing which is supposed to be covered under warranty. From the last three days im paying daily around 800 to 900rs to cab services only for commuting to my office and back home. This is not the first issue i am facing regarding skoda services. There had been end number of issues which cant be stated on an email. Skoda should provide a backup vehicle if it takes so much of time to get the car issues sorted. Other car brands like tata, maruti, ford, bmw etc provide backup vehicle to their customers if the workshop is taking a lot of time to resolve their car issue. As far as nawab motors is concerned i have faced issues with them in the past and i have never ever heard anyone saying positive things about nawab motors. Nawab motors is now asking me to pay 65000rs for a thing which is supposed to be done for free under warranty
