Smartowner — Not receiving payouts

We have invested money in smartowner and they have stopped our quarterly payouts since July 22. All they say is some 3rd party audit is on so payouts are withheld. Does any audit take so long. After repeatedly pestering them they give a copy paste answer. Just want to know what is the truth, so that further action can be initiated
