I purchased an steam iron from Snapdeal online worth Rs. 944/-. But the item received was defective. So I contacted Snapdeal to take the item back. I was told by E-mail to send back the item on the address mentioned in E-mail by courier service and send them the scanned copy of receipt of courier charges (Rs. 100/-).I did the same and I booked the item by Kohinoor Air Service on 10.06.2014 .I received Rs.100/- in my Bank A/c by RTGS from Snapdeal but on asking about Rs. 944/- I was told that they have not received the item back. And asked me to provide scanned copy of POD (Proof Of Delivery). I've been asking the courier service to provide POD for the last One and half months but they are not providing the same. Failing which I'm not able to get my money back from Snapdeal. Please help me sort out this matter. .
I'm a doctor. And in order to receive POD I have visited to Kohinoor Air Service many a times since last one and half months leaving my job by which I could have earned some money, rather I've expended a lot of money on making phone calls and visiting courier office.
I want to receive my money Rs. 944/- back due to loss of the item by courier company. + Economic Loss as mentioned above DR. Ajeet Singh M-[protected]
