I had bought a laptop from snapdeal website in Oct 2015 vide order no [protected].

As per the offers given at that time, I was to get 10% as cash back if I pay through -hdfc card and in emi for at least 6 months. Though I did nt require emi facility, I had opted for the same. Accordingly I had to pay about 1000 as Interest also. Considering that I will get 10% or max 2000 as cash back, I had opted for the same. The Laptop was for 32990/-/ However the cash back declared on the terms and conditions was not given. I have been mailing to snapdeal people and no use. Every process is so mechanised that I could never get to speak to any one but only Ivrs. I mailed on [protected]@snapdeal but even that response is also mechanised and you get automated mails and never ever some one responded by reading the same.

I even mailed to kunal.[protected]@snapdeal.com, even that is also automated. I have given a bad review for their app and even then no body responds. Finally I got this website and I am wrting through u. Hope at least now it will be replied after really reading.

Thanks to this forum. At last Snapdeal got in touch with me.
Through this forum i want to update the status of the complaint.

Initially snapdeal called me up and said that the Cash back would have been credited and wanted to send the statement of account. When I was ready to produce the same, they came up with a statement that the Cash back was available only if I had used App based transaction and not web based transaction.
Funny part is that, when I have sought proof from them that this offer and these conditions were made available in their website and that I have purchased through web and not through App, they dont have answer.

Now they have sent a 3rd party some webpage not of that of Snapdeal, which states that the offer is applicable only for app based transactions. When I insisted that I want proof on their website, they state that they cant produce. While 3rd party page is retrievable, their pages are not retreivable. They are not ready to give this statement also in writing.
This snapdeal is completely bogus site and cheating people. I want them to be properly punished.
